Rose's POV
Two hours before Lucian would sneak out for his late-night ride unbeknownst to him Rose was already planning her own evening.
"Ah, finally, I have time to do some of the things I should've done in my past life," Rose murmured, sitting cross-legged on her bed.Her fingers traced the edge of her notebook absently, lost in thought. "I lost so many moments, so many little joys," she thought, a pang of regret hitting her. "But not this time."
Suddenly, her phone buzzed, breaking her reverie.
Ring ring.
Rose glanced at the screen, curiosity flickering in her eyes."A call at this time? Who could it be?" She picked up her phone and saw the name flashing. Luna? A surprised smile crept onto her face. "Wow, I almost forgot about my best friend from college."
She sighed, leaning back against her headboard. "One of the many sacrifices I made trying to prove my worth," she thought bitterly. "Looking back, I really was a terrible person."
