Challenge #9: Leadership Rock, Paper, Scissors

The room buzzed with nervous energy as Jayda clapped her hands together, signaling the start of the first official game. "Alright, everyone, pay attention," she called, her voice firm yet excited. "Our first game is called 'Leadership Rock, Paper, Scissors.' It's not just a simple game of chance—it's a test of your strategic thinking, alliance-building, and, most importantly, your leadership qualities. You'll be working in groups, and in the end, two people from each will be eliminated."

The students exchanged uneasy glances, the stakes suddenly feeling very real. Rurki shifted in his seat, his mind already racing with tactics. Alliance-building, huh? This is going to be interesting.

Jayda continued, her eyes scanning the room. "You'll be paired into groups of six. In each group, you'll play a series of rounds of rock, paper, scissors. But there's a twist—you must choose your actions as a group. You will vote on each person's move, and in the end, the group with the most losses will be eliminated and two people with the most losses from each group will be eliminated. The twist is, if you betray your group or play selfishly, you risk losing trust and could end up being the target yourself but wait there's more a single person can always betray their group to win or a group and betray a person or two."

"Persons who plan to betray will have the ability to tell use who they are out right targeting in the group they a betray that's if they have someone targeting." Said Brittany.

The students murmured among themselves, clearly rattled. Rurki furrowed his brows. So we have to work together, but still be strategic enough to avoid being eliminated ourselves? Sounds like a lot of mind games ahead.

"Here's how it works," Brittany said, flashing a mischievous smile. "You will all take turns voting on which gesture each person will make. You can vote for rock, paper, or scissors for the others, but once your turn comes up, you cannot change your vote. You'll also need to come to a consensus as a group before each round begins. If two or more people lose, they will have to face elimination."

Irina's voice cut through the chatter. "So this is a test of how well we can coordinate as a team," she said, her tone sharp. "It'll be interesting to see how the alliances play out."

Jayda stepped forward once more. "Alright, now that everyone understands the rules, we begin the first round tomorrow. Make sure to form good groups and strategize carefully.

Rurki stood up from his chair, his mind buzzing with the unfolding events. He walked over to Rihanna, who was standing near the window, watching the others.

"This is getting more and more interesting," said Rihanna, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"I know, right?" Rurki replied, nodding in agreement.

Just then, Ramon walked over with Francisco, Damion, and Jaxon, all of them looking serious.

"So, we're teaming up, right?" Jaxon asked, his tone flat but expectant.

"Hmm, let's discuss this somewhere else, somewhere a bit more private," Rurki said, glancing at the others. "Also, I need to head home. I'm starving. Haven't eaten since yesterday, you know?"

"Really?" Rihanna asked, her brow raised. "Why didn't you eat before coming?"

"Long story," Rurki replied with a shrug, his expression closing off for a moment.

"So, that's why you were late?" Damion asked, his voice skeptical.

"Yeah," Rurki confirmed. "So, where do we meet?"

"My place," Ramon said with a half-smile. "I'll send you the room number."

"Okay, nice. Send it in about two hours, yeah?" Rurki said, already heading toward the door.

[Later, in Room 303]

Rurki entered the room, taking in the quiet space. It looked like Taylah hadn't arrived yet, so he took the opportunity to relax.

"Well, I'll cook first, though," Rurki muttered to himself, pulling out the ingredients and setting them up on the counter.

As he cooked, the scent of the food filled the room, making him momentarily forget his hunger. After finishing his meal, he cleaned up quickly before heading upstairs to take a proper shower.

Fifteen minutes later, Taylah entered with Zalika, both of them looking around.

"Wow, that smells really good," Zalika commented, her eyes narrowing slightly as she noticed the scent of the food.

"Did you cook?" she asked, her voice light with surprise.

"Nah, you know I can't cook. It's my roommate—the boy who was sitting beside me," Taylah replied with a smirk.

"Oh, we can ask him to join our team then, since we only have three members," Zalika suggested, glancing toward the kitchen.

Rurki, now only in his blue underwear, strolled downstairs, abs and pecs clearly visible. His eyes caught Zalika's and Taylah's surprised expressions.

"Hey, I'm Rurki," he said smoothly, walking over and extending his hand to Zalika. "Nice to meet you."

"I'm Zalika," she replied, shaking his hand firmly, but her eyes were still slightly wide from the unexpected sight.

"It seems you're very expressive," Zalika remarked, an amused smile playing on her lips.

"Huh? Why?" Rurki asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Your half naked pervert right in front of the head chancellor" said Taylah.

"I don't mind," Zalika said with a shrug, unfazed by his attire.

Rurki leaned in close to Taylah, whispering, "You saw me in my underwear. I guess we're both even now." He grinned and walked toward the refrigerator, taking out a bottle of water.

"Feel free to help yourselves. I've already eaten. I'm not like Taylah," he added, tossing a glance over his shoulder before heading back upstairs.

"What does that mean?" Zalika asked, genuinely curious.

"I didn't wake him up," Taylah answered, rolling her eyes.

"So, that's why he was late. I like him; he's expressive," Zalika said, clearly amused by the situation.

Rurki returned downstairs, fully dressed in his usual attire, ready to meet with his team. Zalika stood up when she saw him.

"You're dressed now? Good," she said with a slight smirk.

"Yeah, I have a meeting with my friends," Rurki replied.

Zalika hesitated for a moment, her expression shifting to something more serious. "Would you join our team for the event? We only have three members, and the third person is looking for two more. What do you say?"

Taylah's voice rang out with disapproval. "Rurki, don't you dare."

Rurki paused for a moment, the words of his friends echoing in his mind. Should he join Zalika's team? I have a Prefect team of six with my friends already, but the rules didn't say anything about being with the same group. It could be a good opportunity. After all, it wasn't against the rules to mix things up.

"Fuck, the rules" Rurki muttered under his breath, his expression determined.

"What about the rules?" Asked Zalika.

He turned to Zalika and said, "Oh nothing of course I will join your team."

Zalika's face lit up, and she bounced on her heels in excitement. "Really? Yay!"

Taylah groaned. "Nooo."

"But I need to make a quick call," Rurki said, ignoring her protests.

[609 Ramon's Room]

Damion's phone rang, and he quickly answered it. "Bro, where are you?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

"I'm at home," Rurki replied, his tone a bit flat.

"Why?" Damion asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Something came up. Is everyone there?" Rurki asked.

"Yeah, we're all here," Damion answered.

Rurki then switched the call to video mode. "Are you seeing me?"

"Yeah," Damion said, glancing at the phone screen. "What's up?"

"I need to talk soft, so listen carefully," Rurki said, lowering his voice. "We shouldn't all be in a group together."

"What? Why not?" Rihanna asked, her voice tinged with confusion.

"It's the rules," Rurki said, glancing at Zalika in the background. "I have a feeling Zalika and some others see it, too. If we're in a full group, especially us, we risk losing two of our members. I suggest we find different groups and blend in. We'll have a better chance if we don't stick together."

Ramon nodded in agreement. "Wait, you're right."

"Don't worry I got a plan." said Rurki
