The Cold Iron

David was currently trying to help navigate a way out the strange maze that was conjured to them at this very moment. He was assisted by Ariael, Absalom and Lucifer of course while his men were trying to tie down the rest.

The maze in question was not a literal one but one forged from the mind. The Navia and other Faerie folk were able to subtly mentally influence their minds as to constantly get lost. They could not exactly attack them either as their ethereal forms simply did not abide by any laws of physics.

It was only through Ariael's grace that most of the men were able to resist it, if not, many of them would have drowned themselves or started a mutiny. David himself managed quite well on his own without the grace, and so did Absalom and the other Thrones. However, these slight alterations were enough to drive them off course.
