Nasiah looked around, waving at the people; it was exciting indeed. Everyone looked so happy and were even waving back at him.
Phanuel ,on the other hand, was quite conflicted. She looked at the joyous faces of the citizens, usually this would cause a smile on her face. She had always enjoyed being treated as the hero. However, this was offset by the fact that they were living under the rule of rebels.
Many of them must have decided to side with those who stood against the Aetree Speakers. It was a clear sign of rebellion and they were so happy because of it.
She wanted to yell, to shout, and to call them out on their foolishness. However, her mind drifted back towards Ayla and Nasiah. Phanuel had to settle herself. There was a time to act and it was not now.
And, of course it was quite beautiful, she had to admit, even if the architecture here was rather old and primal, there was a certain sense of nostalgia she had from viewing it.
