Everyone watched as Zahid and his men emerged from their jars.

First were formless smoky wisps, then they regained their humanoid forms, levitating back down towards the earth, gasping for air, even if they did not need it.

Kalila ran to Zahid's side, bringing him back up as her sisters did the same to his men.

"What were you thinking? You fool! What have you done!"

"I… I was trying to save our people…" He sputtered out while shooting Forenus a glare.

"You broke the Sanctuary… and you tortured them too… that's not revenge, that's being sadi-"

Zahid stood up, towering over Kalila with fire in his eyes. "For everything that shall be done to us, there is no price too high to pay!"

He looked to the guards that were in charge of the torture.

"You've seen to it that we have what we need?"

They nodded along, giving a wordless remark.

"We should not involve the Sages in our war, and we do not involve the innocent as well-"
