1) the Last chapter IS canon in the story. I just made it an Omake to kind of wrap up how it came to that situation rather than write walls and walls of dialogue when it comes to it alongside answering whatever questions you had about modern time Zack.
2) Whatever hatred Tokiomi received in the Previous chapter was from Zack's POV. If you paid attention, you'll see that Tokiomi was actually pretty thoughtful when we moved to Third POV.)

"Ah, that was a nice trip," I said as I brought my puppet body back to the Empty Bridge.
I had just taken a stroll near a beach enjoying the sun and sand. Nothing really much to it. I just wanted to get out and see the world again.
Honestly, I guess I could use the puppet body to help around, but as far as I know, there's nothing major
going on, nor anyone that actually needs my help.
... Just as I thought that, I sensed a presence entering the Empty Bridge and getting closer to Nature's Law.
"Me and my big mouth," I groaned in my real body feeling annoyed.
Entering the Empty Bridge isn't impossible. Crossing it without my permission is another thing. The Empty Bridge is similar to an hourglass. You can mingle at each end, but you can't cross the figurative 'neck" because I'm there.
The presence that was coming closer to the middle was, oddly enough, from the Mortal Realm side, which is weird because anyone there who wants to cross it knows how to contact me.
I moved to the edge of Nature's Law and waited for whoever was coming over. If they're trying to cross, they better have a good reason, or they're gonna be very disappointed.
What appeared was a large wave of water that stopped and settled down to a puddle in front of the edge of my Reality Marble. From that puddle, a figure began rising.
The person that came out of the puddle was a woman wearing a pure white dress. Her hair was pale blue and flew like water, almost literally. She looked at me with bright blue eyes and and bowed.
"Greetings, Mirror of the Planet. I am Vivian, one of the remaining mystics in the Mortal Realm," she introduced herself.
Her name made me want to bash my head on a wall. There's no way this isn't going to be annoying one way or another. "What do you want, fairy?" I asked, getting straight to the point.
Vivian stood straight but kept her eyes down. "The Holy Sword, Excalibur, has been given to young Arthur."
"I'm well aware of that. Skip the monologue and get to your point," I was in no mood for a backstory.
Vivian's shoulders tensed but her expression didn't change. "I am unsure if Arthur will be able to handle such power. I am especially concerned for the Divine Spear, Rhongomyniad, for it might influence Arthur's
mind, and while Merlin-" her eyebrow twitched for a moment. "-Is a capable Mage, I would still rest easier knowing there is someone else to guide Arthur."
"And you came to me because you want ME to watch over Arthur?" I asked and Vivian nodded. "I'm going to be straight with you: no."
That caused Vivian to stop looking down and actually look up at me. "W-What? Why?!"
" First off, why can't YOU do it?" I asked.
Vivian's expression turned sour instantly. "I cannot remain near Arthur for long because of... personal conditions."
Oh, right. Her 'other side' being Arthur's greatest enemy after Vortigern.
"Alright, that's understandably, I admit. But, second off, why should I do it?" I asked crossing my arms. "Arthur contributes nothing to either Humanity or The Planet. I have no actual need to help."
I mean, I guess in the original time-line, Camelot did serve to end the remains of the Age of Gods. But, because of what I did, Camelot isn't really necessary for that anymore. And protecting Britain? There's dozens of Time-lines where Arthur doesn't even exist and Britain turned out fine.
Honestly, I would have helped a few centuries ago before I got my Reality Marble, but now that my movement is limited, I don't want to get caught up in anything that'll make me stay in one place too long.
"Please, if you do not help Arthur, I am not sure if they'll be able to handle Vortigern," Vivian practically begged.
Vortigern was honestly the only card she has to play. Being the lingering resentment of Albion makes it an actual threat, but I already know that Arthur managed to handle him in the end, so I have no reason to care.
Just as I was about to reject her again, a message from Gaia came in. It was the last thing I wanted to hear and it was basically:
"Go and ensure that our Weapon is not misused by that Mortal."
Now I REALLY wanted to bash my head on a wall. "It seems that Arthur will have your assistance in the end," Vivian tried, and failed, to hide the smug tone in her voice.
Groaning, pointed at her and said, "Okay, just for that, I'm gonna mess with Lancelot."
"You stay away from my little boy!" Vivian yelled.
Wow, she snapped fast. "When I'm done with him, he'll be a drunking man whore."
Of course, I was bluffing. I was gonna mess with Lancelot as payback, but not to THAT extent. I'm not going to ruin his life because his mother is annoying.
"You touch a hair on Little Lancy's head and I'll make you regret it," Vivian threatened while actually shaking her fist at me.
(Little Lancy? Oh, I am SO using that on him,) I thought deviously before turning my back to Vivian. "Can't hear you. Moving to my puppet body. Bye!"
"Get back here you-!" That was the last I heard of Vivian before taking my real body to the middle of Nature's Law and moving my consciousness to my puppet one.
Well, time to go to Britain, I guess.
