Take me to your Leader [3]

The whole room was quiet and they all looked caught off guard by my statement, even the white haired man, who I assume is Merlin.

The blond man, the one sitting at the table, stood up and slammed both his hands on said table. "How dare you!?" He asked, glaring at me and reaching for his sword.

"Gawain, still your hand," A simple order from Arthur was all it took for the big guy, Gawain, to stop. Arthur then turned to me and narrowed her eyes. "Sent by Vivian or not, I will not have you disrespect me in my own castle."

"Okay, two things," I held up two fingers. "One, I was not 'sent' by Vivian because she has no authority to give me orders or even make requests. Fairies like her answer to me, not the other way around. Vivian BEGGED me to come and help you, but I refused. Two, I'm not here for Vivian. I'm here on orders from the world itself. Excalibur is one of the world's greatest treasures, did you think they won't have someone make sure you didn't misuse it, girl?"

A sword was placed on my neck. I looked at Kay with a raised eyebrow. "Choose your next words carefully," he threatened.

I sighed before glancing at Merlin's direction. "Primate Murderer, are you there?"

Both Arthur and Merlin tensed. A furry, white creature came out from under Merlin's robes and stood on his shoulder, looking at me curiously.

"Fou?"

"When I give you the signal, start killing every human in Britain." As soon as I said that, the entire room was filled with incredibly powerful killing intent.

The source was none of the knights, Merlin, or Arthur. It was so powerful that Gawain and Kay looked like they were struggling to keep still, while the Knight besides Arthur fell on his knees and struggled to breath. Arthur actually showed emotions and looked worried, while Merlin was sweating like crazy, despite keeping his carefree smile.

The tiny cute creature from a moment ago was gone.

Now, standing behind Merlin, holding both of the Mage's shoulders in its claws, was a large beast with big horns, a rainbow tail, and white fur. The beast growled right next to Merlin's head, obviously ready to start killing.

"Stop," With that simple order from me, the beast was gone and the cute tiny creature was back. "See that?" I asked Arthur as her knights tried to recover from the wave of killing intent. "I could have ended your whole kingdom and all your efforts with ONE ORDER. It's that simple for me."

I guess they could, by some really big miracle, stop the Primate Murderer, but by then it would have most likely killed almost all humans in Britain with how fast at killing it is.

"But, I don't want that," I sighed as I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Look, if not for direct orders from the World itself, I wouldn't even be here. I'm just annoyed. I hardly get to walk around freely and when I actually can, I was sent here to watch over Excalibur," looking at Arthur, I crossed my arms. "So, let me get some stuff straight. I'm just here to make sure you don't misuse that sword. I'm not here to guide you, give you advice, or help you in your journey. If you need or want my help, I'll provide it within reason. But, my job, ultimately, is to watch over that sword."

"And if I don't prove satisfactory?" Arthur asked, seemingly relaxed now that the Primate Murderer is back to its cute appearance. "What will you do then?" I shrugged. "I'll just take Excalibur. It's not yours to begin with. It's the World's, and you know that."

She seems to relax after I said that, most likely noticing that I specifically said that I'll just take Excalibur instead of hurt anyone or kill her for it. Looks like she really does acknowledge Excalibur as the World's property.

"I see," Arthur nodded before sighing. "If it is the will of the world, then so be it. But, you also need to understand that my priority is my kingdom and the people, not pleasing you."

I shrugged again. "So long as you don't misuse the sword, I won't really do anything."

Accepting the answer, Arthur looked at Kay. "Sir Kay, please show our guest to their quarters. Call the other knights to return on your way back. We must let them know of our guest."

Kay gave me a quick glare before sheathing his sword and bowing to his king. "Yes, your Majesty."

Kay then walked out of the chamber and I followed him. The guards that were guarding it were on the floor, unconscious.

Guess Primate Murderer's killing intent was too much for them.

Third POV:

As soon as the gates closed behind Kay and Zack, Arthur looked at the Knight besides her. "Bedivere, are you alright?"

"Yes... your majesty... simply regaining my breath," the Knight struggled to stand up and recover after what the Primate Murderer just did.

"Hehe, that was quite the scare you gave us, Cath Palug," Merlin chuckled, looking at the tiny creature. "Can't help but feel like you were going to kill me first?"

"Your majesty, is it alright to allow that disrespectful man to stay here?" Gawain asked, obviously not having a high opinion of Zack.

Arthur sighed but nodded nonetheless. "Yes, Gawain. Excalibur might be my precious sword of victory, but it belongs to the World before it belongs to me. If the World judges me unworthy to no longer wield it, I of course will return it."

"Are you sure, though? Achieving your dream will be far more difficult without Excalibur," Merlin asked, turning to his king.

Ignoring his question, Arthur asked her own. "Merlin... who was that man? What kind of being can simply order Cath Palug like that?"

Merlin hummed and rubbed his chin. "I... am not sure. I have an idea, though," that gained the attention of everyone in the room. "I have often heard the fairies speak of an Elemental that stand on top of the world, reflecting the planet itself. If I remember correctly, its name was 'Zakiel'. I'm sure you can see the resemblance between the names of our guest and this entity. However, I never personally looked into those rumours or legends. I'll have to look into it further."

"Find what you can and share it with us tonight during the meeting. We will discuss our guest with the other knights of the Round Table then," Arthur ordered and Merlin nodded.
