Chapter 80 - Destion, Say Hello to Berseker

Sylphy relayed everything she had heard. The information made them extremely anxious as their identities would soon be exposed.

Sweat poured down their faces as they tried their best to maintain composure despite their fear and panic. They stood firm even though they knew their identities would inevitably be discovered.

The sound of footsteps grew closer, ascending the spiral staircase before them.

Now that the man had calmed down, the chances of him recognizing Kaizoku and Sylphy were extremely high since they were wanted people being hunted.

Gon and the man appeared before Kaizoku, and the man began scanning the faces around him.

His gaze quickly locked onto Kaizoku.

"Huh... That face looks familiar... Aha! That is Kaizoku! His face is plastered all over the bounty posters!"

Gon was shocked by these words. Without hesitation, he summoned his weapon to attack Kaizoku. "What!? I shouldnt trust any humans again... Chamenos!"

In less than five seconds, a massive bone scythe materialized in Gon's hand. He immediately leaped upward, pointing the scythe's blade directly at Kaizoku's head.

Kaizoku spotted Destion being thrown above him. With lightning speed, he caught Destion and used both hands to block the scythe that nearly struck his forehead.

Looking behind him, he saw it was Sylphy who had thrown Destion after Lilith had removed the spell.

"Look in front of you, HERO!"

Kaizoku turned back just as Gon's bone leg delivered a devastating kick to his chest.

He was thrown across the room, crashing into the hard wall.

Sylphy, still restraining Lilith, cried out when she saw Kaizoku thrown. "Kai! Ggrrhhh..."

The man seemed to want to help Lilith, but Sylphy quickly side kicked him in the head while still holding Lilith back with both hands.

Gon approached Kaizoku, dragging his bone scythe across the floor.

"Gon never expected you to be the one Lord Ishayaki was searching for. Lord Ishayaki only mentioned you were skilled at shooting, but it seems you're quite proficient with a sword as well..."

Lilith laughed watching her master begin to fight, mocking Sylphy that their lives would soon end.

"Gahahaha! Lord Gon has started moving - you're all dead! Lord Gon knows no mercy..."

Kaizoku smiled slightly, speaking with enthusiasm. "Finally... I'm reunited with you, Destion..."

Standing up, Kaizoku was ready to face whatever stood before him as long as Destion was by his side.

"Destion... You've got a new friend to meet... Say hello to Berserker..."

Kaizoku drew Berserker from his back and introduced it to Destion.

Gon grew irritated watching Kaizoku's behavior, as he seemed to not take their fight seriously.

"Gon will deliver your soul to Lord Ishayaki... So prepare yourself!"

For the second time, Gon leaped upward and aimed his scythe's tip at Kaizoku.

Quickly, Kaizoku tucked Destion into his holder and blocked Gon's attack with Berserker, gripping it firmly with both hands.

"Heh, take my soul? Impossible after I've turned your body to dust!"

An enraged Gon swung his scythe downward, forcing Kaizoku to jerk his head back to avoid the weapon's rear edge.

Cleverly, Kaizoku redirected the scythe upward toward Gon. Unexpectedly, the attack managed to strike Gon's head, though it barely fazed him.

"Grrrhh... You'll regret doing that...."
