Chapter 10:Nanook's fall and Purpur

The Magician take out her curved blade saber and infuse it with fire magic. She turn to Black Blade again and soften her gaze.

"I'm Azuka, The first of 12 deadly roses. Pleased to meet you." She said and then turn to Nanook.

"The pleasure is all mine. now, What's the plan?"

"I just need some covering and support. I can beat that beast but the ice spike is disturbing me. I know you can handle the spikes,right?" She said sounding very serious.

He nodded as a response and jumps out and chant a fireball to Nanook. It immediately cast ice spikes to him as it saw him.

"I leave the neck to you!" He shouted as Azuka prepared her flaming saber.

At the same time, in the village.

Emerald get hit a few times by dark bolts. She finally falls down on the ground as she running out of energy. She managed to take down a few of the mages but they just too many that actually giving her the hard time.

Joachim step up to her and step on her head. He lowers her back to look at Emerald's face.

"Who do you think you are? Do you think you can take us all at the same time? Small pest."

"Master... will be here... and he will wipe you all out."

After hearing what she said, Joachim kicked her stomach that sends he rolling on the ground. He catches up and again kicked her.

"You! Stop! I will tell you where's the crystal. Just don't hurt her anymore!" Aldred quickly shouted before Joachim actually cast a spell on her.

"Oh. You willing to cooperate just because of this little cabbige? Sure. tell me."

"Hi hid it in..." He stopped when someone suddenly shout 'stop' with a very commanding voice.

A woman in black dress and black witch hat walk up to them. Her eyes glow purple as he see all the commotion that caused by Joachim.

"Leader of Warlock squad, Joachim. What are you doing here? Didn't I ask you to bring the ceremonial items?"

"Lady Purpur? What are you doing here." He said with terror in his face as he kneel down. All the dark magician there kneel down to Lady Purpur.

Joachim about to say something but a black aura covers her neck and he get raised to the air while choked by Lady Purpur.

"Put forked tongue behind your teeth. You lower grade leaders really destroyed the reputation. Yesterday I heard about a bunch of shadow warrior who kidnapped a princess but failed. Now you, destroy my hometown? The audacity!" She throws Joachim to a tree.

He panting a lot after get to breathe. He stands up and get into kneeling position and nodded down. All the dark magician there seems to shake after knowing that this snowy village known as Closenbord were the hometown of hers.

"You all better go back to HQ. We got a lot to talk about."

"Y-yes... Lady..."

Joachim and all the dark magician starts to run away and get on their horses and wagon then they run away from the village. Lady Purpur quickly runs to Aldred and untie him, then she get to Emerald and heals her wound.

"You finally come back, Purity"

"I'm home uncle." She said with a smile and keep healing Emeralds wound.

"They come for the crystal. I've done all I could to keepsake it."

"I know uncle. I don't know who from our organisation(D.M.A) doing the operation of searching the crystal. Every high-ups have their own agenda. Very hard to predict."

They then talk to each other as Lady Purpur who also known as Purity Purinisia apologize on behalf of Dark Magician Assosiation. Aldred pick Emerald up as she fall asleep after her wound get healed. She was definately out of it since she's been fighting there for a while.

Meanwhile, Black Blade was holding his sword hilt that he turned into a wide greatsword as he charging towards Nanook.

"Azuka! Now!" He shouted as Azuka jumps down from Nanooks arm and he swings his greatsword to Azuka as she lands on the greatswords and use the force from his swing to boost herself up to the sky.

Nanook is about to target Azuka. It swings both it arm to catch her but two black chain wrap it hands and preventing it from hitting Azuka. Black blade who just turn his blade into two chain with kunai like edge at the end of the chain controlled the chain to stop Nanook.

"I'm your opponent!"

"Thanks! Let's ends this once and for all!" She falls down with her sword infused with fiery aura.

She slash down the back of the beast neck. The area that touched with the sword melts like flowing lava. The beast struggles in pain and sends Azuka to the sky and she lands on the ground with her sword impaled to the ground to break the falling impact.

Then, Nanook finally stop moving and fall down making a loud and big tremors on the ground. The snow on the ground get blown away and leaving a misty are of the Fallen Nanook. Black Blade runs to Azuka.

"You did it!"

"Not without your support. thanks. I've been monitoring this High Beast for a while." She chuckles as she put her sword to her back.

"I have another things to be done. See you another day."

Without thinking any further, he sprints out from the nest to get to the village to make sure things in control there. Azuka follows him closely and they made their way to the Closenbord Village.

When they get there, the villagers were cleaning the area that was messy all over. There is house that just fully burnt down. Some of villager died and some of them start to rebuilding the structure in the village.

"What in Melloyern mist is happening here. Dark magician really doing it here." He exclaim.

"Well, that's not a surprise if you ask me." Azuka said as she step in the village and start to help the villagers.

He walks in the village looking for Emerald and he know where exactly to look for her. He knocked the Village Chief house and Aldred open the door. He welcome him in and Emerald was laying on the bed, peacefully sleeping.

He saw a lady sitting by the bed sipping tea. she was Lady Purpur.

"Oh! You. I think you are Lady Purpur. D.M.A. Five Lunaris. Am I right." He said with an excited voice.

"*chuckles* Well I am. It's been a while to see fellow magician who didn't act hostile on me." She look at Black Blade with a gentle smile.

"I know you for... I don't know? decade? It's a pleasure to see you in person."

She chuckles again and nodding a few times.

"well well, I never thought that a D.M.A. representitive could have a fans not from the organisation. I'm honored."

"Well, I know that those from D.M.A. Magician Academy were corrupted but not five Lunaris. I'm a fans to all five Lunaris."

As for a fact, Five Lunaris is a separate department from D.M.A. main HQ. Five Lunaris is a personal group that working for themselves under the banner of D.M.A but didn't related directly to it. The only thing they need to follow to stay under D.M.A banner is joining the annual assembly.

Even with small condition, they have the rights to command people in D.M.A as long as they didn't brings D.M.A name to the grave.

"Well, Thanks to you, my reason for being here is done. You take a lot of burden from my plate, thanks again." Lady Purpur said as Black Blade stated that the beast already fallen to the ground.

"You're welcome. i hope we could met again someday and maybe work together? You Lunaris have high class dark magic and you all scaled to Arcane tier(Highest tier) right?"

"That's true. I adore your admiration." She chuckles while covering her mouth

They continue talking for another 30 minutes. After that, Emerald finally awake. Aldred handed him the Notherneil Holy Crystal and they started to make their way to return home.
