Chapter 129: Horsea's Warning

"Heal Horsea first, Staryu, go..." Misty took out the Poké Ball, intending to send Staryu out and bring Horsea up for treatment. But at this moment, Horsea moved.

Horsea spit ink, forming two patterns on the sea's surface. The patterns resembled two Pokémon. Although the waves quickly dissipated the patterns, Ash and his group still recognized the two Pokémon.

"Tentacool and Tentacruel?" Misty, familiar with Water-type Pokémon, didn't understand Horsea's intention in drawing them. She decided not to overthink it and prioritize Horsea's healing.

"Staryu, bring Horsea up!" Misty threw a Poké Ball and released Staryu. Upon entering the water, Staryu received the order and immediately lifted Horsea, attempting to bring it ashore.

However, Horsea struggled, falling from Staryu's body back into the sea. It again spit up the Tentacool and Tentacruel patterns, chirping anxiously.

"Ash, what's it saying?" Witnessing this, Misty grew curious and asked Ash, knowing he could understand Pokémon language.

Ash's face turned serious. He hadn't expected his fears to materialize. The Tentacruel group was indeed attacking the sea construction, but he couldn't recall the details of how the giant Tentacruel had emerged. He only remembered that, under the giant Tentacruel's leadership, the Tentacruel group launched a simultaneous Surf attack, causing a tsunami that submerged Yumachi Wharf and spread to Rampur, inflicting massive damage.

"Boom----!"

Just as Ash was about to explain to Misty and Brock, a massive explosion occurred in the distance. Looking towards the source, they saw a transport ship on the sea had exploded.

"Not good!" Misty's expression changed, and she immediately threw another Poké Ball, releasing Starmie. Ash also released Wartortle.

"Everyone, go and save people!" Ash commanded the three Pokémon to head to the transport ship's crash site and rescue any survivors.

Simultaneously, three crew members jumped from the burning ship, struggling in the sea, trying to distance themselves from the wreckage. Something seemed to be attacking them underwater, causing their faces to contort in fear as they sank.

Fortunately, the three Pokémon reached them in time. Diving into the sea, they discovered Tentacool lurking beneath the surface. Their expressions shifted, and without hesitation, they dragged the crew members to the surface and swam towards the shore.

"I'm stunned... what's the reason?" After the Pokémon brought the three ashore, Brock assessed their condition. A growing crowd gathered to observe.

"Please inform Officer Jenny and send someone to take them to the hospital," Brock instructed a passerby.

"No problem!" The passerby, recognizing the urgency, immediately called the police station to report the situation.

"Why did the transport ship crash?" Brock frowned, pondering the cause.

Misty, remembering Horsea, immediately instructed Starmie and Staryu to bring it up for treatment.

"Horsea!" Horsea spoke continuously while being treated, but out of the water, it couldn't fully express itself through patterns.

"I understand, I'll explain it to everyone!" Ash nodded.

"What happened?" Misty and Brock asked Ash urgently. The crowd of onlookers had begun to disperse, losing interest in watching them rescue Horsea.

"Horsea said that the Tentacruel group is attacking the hotel being built on the coral reef." Ash paused, omitting the giant Tentacruel, as Horsea hadn't mentioned it, and he didn't know how it had come into existence.

Raising the issue prematurely would only arouse suspicion. However, he could still alert Officer Jenny and others about the Tentacruel group's attack, urging them to take precautions and prevent significant losses.

"It's the Tentacruel group, but why are they attacking that building?" Both Brock and Misty looked concerned. This was a case of Pokémon attacking humans.

"Perhaps it's because... the coral reef was their original habitat..." Ash sighed, realizing the League hadn't handled the situation properly.

Moments later, a police car arrived. Officer Jenny, seemingly aware of the events, wore a grim expression. She ordered her officers to transport the three injured employees and prepared to leave.

"Wait, Officer Jenny!" Brock approached her with a serious look. He intended to share what he had learned from Horsea.

"I know about it, but there's nothing I can do..." Officer Jenny gritted her teeth and shook her head. The Tentacruel group had attacked the coral reef area multiple times.

Officer Jenny was baffled by the Rampur Chief's decision to sell the coral reef to Granny Silver for the development of a sea hotel.

Without this construction, none of this would have happened. No one would have been injured, and the Tentacruel clan wouldn't have attacked humans.

"Officer Jenny, I think it's better to be more careful!" Ash said to Officer Jenny seriously. After a pause, he pointed to Horsea in Misty's arms. "I can roughly understand the language of Pokémon. Just now, Horsea said there are many Tentacool and Tentacruel at the bottom of the sea!"

"A lot?!" Hearing Ash's words, Officer Jenny's complexion changed slightly, and she thought of a terrible possibility.

"I don't know how many, but Horsea said there are at least hundreds or thousands. If they attack Yumachi Wharf..." Ash couldn't say too clearly, so he could only remind Officer Jenny in this way.

Officer Jenny's face became increasingly grim. She also thought of the possibility that if such a massive group used the Surf move simultaneously, it would cause a tremendous tsunami, impacting not only Yumachi Wharf but potentially the entire Rampur City!

"Immediately issue a Level 1 Security Alert and report what happened here to the League!" Officer Jenny made a decisive decision and ordered her subordinates.

"Level 1 Security Alert?!" Hearing Officer Jenny's words, the officer was taken aback for a moment. Then, reacting with slight nervousness, he replied with a salute, "Understood, ma'am."
