Chapter 22: A Day at the Horse Farm

The month of April continued to pass with vibrant and refreshing energy, and Kendall Jenner felt increasingly grateful for moments of calm and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of parties and events. On a sunny and pleasant day, she decided to visit one of her favorite places to relax: her private horse farm, where she kept her beloved horses.

The farm was located in a quiet and spacious area, surrounded by green fields and well-kept stables. It was the place where Kendall felt most at peace, away from the cameras and the frenzy of her public life.

When she arrived, Kendall was greeted by the soft sound of the horses' hooves and the refreshing aroma of the pasture. Thomas accompanied her, and she was excited to show him one of her special places.

"Welcome to my haven," Kendall said as she got out of the car and looked around with a satisfied smile. "This is my horse farm." This is where I come to relax and spend time with my horses.

Thomas, always attentive and interested, looked around curiously.

"This looks like an amazing place," he commented as he followed Kendall to the stables. "I've never been to a horse farm before, but it looks like a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle."

As they walked through the stables, Kendall stopped to greet and feed some of her horses. She was excited to introduce Thomas to her equine friends, who were familiar with the visiting routine and were quite friendly.

"These are my horses," Kendall said, petting an elegant white gelding named Cloud. "And this one is Thunder, a little more unruly, but one of my favorites."

Thomas watched with interest, and when Kendall invited him to approach the horses, he did so with care and respect. Kendall noticed that he seemed a little hesitant, as if he didn't have much experience with large animals.

"Have you ridden a horse before, Thomas?" — Kendall asked, as she readied a saddle for one of the horses.

Thomas smiled, seeing the genuine interest in Kendall's eyes.

"Yeah, I've actually ridden a few times," he replied. "When I was on missions in Afghanistan and Iraq, we had to use horses in some situations. It was an efficient way to move through mountainous and rugged terrain, especially when we had to carry heavy equipment."

Kendall raised an eyebrow, surprised and interested in Thomas's experience.

"Wow, that's interesting," she said, as she readied the saddle. "I never thought you'd ridden a horse on a mission. That must have been quite a unique experience."

Thomas nodded, looking at the horses thoughtfully.

"Yeah, it was definitely a different experience," he said. "Using horses instead of motorized vehicles had its advantages in certain types of terrain. Plus, horses were quieter and less visible, which was useful in mission situations."

Kendall seemed impressed and excited by the conversation.

"I'd love to hear more about it," she said as she helped Thomas mount one of the horses. "Also, I'd like to know if you could show me some tips to improve my riding technique."

Thomas accepted the invitation with a smile.

"Sure, I'd love to help," he replied. "Let's start with the basics and see how you do."

After a quick review of the basics, Thomas and Kendall climbed onto their horses. Kendall was riding Cloud, his white horse, while Thomas rode Thunder, who seemed a little restless.

"First, we're going to take a light ride around the farm so you can get used to the horse and the feeling of riding," Thomas explained, guiding Thunder alongside Kendall and Cloud.

As they walked through the field, Thomas gave instructions and tips on posture and horse control. Kendall followed the instructions attentively, trying to absorb as much as possible.

"Keep your posture upright and your feet firmly in the stirrups," Thomas instructed as he adjusted Kendall's position.

"And remember to use the reins gently to direct the horse, without pulling too hard."

Kendall followed Thomas's lead and quickly began to feel more comfortable. The gentle breeze and the feeling of freedom on the horse were invigorating.

"This is going really well," Thomas said as he watched Kendall adjust to the horse's rhythm. "You have good balance and seem to connect well with Cloud."

Kendall smiled, visibly pleased with her progress. "Thank you, Thomas," she said. "I'm loving this. And it's great to have someone with experience to help me."

After a while, Thomas decided to show off some advanced techniques. He took Kendall to a more open field and began demonstrating some control and maneuvering exercises. "Now, I'm going to show you how to do a small circle and then transition to a light trot," Thomas explained.

Kendall watched intently, taking in every detail. When it was her turn, she tried to follow Thomas's movements, adjusting her reins and posture according to his instructions.

"Excellent work, Kendall," Thomas said, as he watched her successfully complete the exercise. "You're getting the hang of it."

As they continued their ride, Kendall and Thomas talked about the experience, sharing stories and enjoying the activity. The conversation flowed naturally, and the connection between them seemed to grow even stronger.

"It's really relaxing to be here, away from the stress of the cities and events," Kendall said, with a genuine smile. "And I'm enjoying the company."

Thomas smiled back, enjoying the moment. "I'm enjoying it too," he replied. "It's great to see you relaxed and having fun. And thank you for letting me be a part of it."

At the end of the ride, Kendall and Thomas returned to the stables, where they unsaddled and tended to the horses. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the sun was beginning to set, creating a picturesque backdrop for the end of the day.

"It was a wonderful day, Kendall," Thomas said as he helped clean up the horses. "I'm glad I could contribute to your experience here."

Kendall looked at Thomas gratefully.

"I'm glad I could too," she replied. "Thank you for being here and helping me improve my riding skills. It was truly a special day."

Thomas smiled and nodded.

"It was a pleasure," he said. "And if you need any more help with the horses or anything else, you know where to find me."

As the day drew to a close, Kendall and Thomas said goodbye to the horses and prepared to leave the farm. Kendall was relaxed and content, and Thomas was glad he had contributed to such a meaningful day.

With the sky tinged with orange and pink as the backdrop, Kendall and Thomas set off, both enjoying the serenity of the horse farm and the special connection they had shared throughout the day. It was a perfect reminder of how simple, authentic moments can be deeply rewarding and strengthen the bonds between people.
