Chapter 69: April’s Farewell

The month of April began with mixed emotions for Taylor and Thomas. Spring was just beginning to show its colors in Beverly Hills, and the weather was getting nicer by the day. However, while the flowers were blooming, Taylor and Thomas' personal situation was about to undergo a significant change. Taylor had a series of shows scheduled for her upcoming tour and would need to travel to fulfill her commitments. Thomas, on the other hand, was returning to his role as Kendall security guard, which meant that they would have to temporarily separate.

It was a Saturday morning and the sun was shining softly through the windows of Taylor and Thomas' house. Taylor was finishing packing her things for the tour, and Thomas was by her side, helping her organize her bags. The atmosphere was charged with a mix of anxiety and anticipation.

— "Do you have everything you need?" Thomas asked, as he put some clothes in a suitcase.

— "I guess so," Taylor replied, quickly scanning the list of items. "But you know, you always seem to forget something."

Thomas smiled and walked closer to Taylor, running his hand lovingly through her hair.

— "I'm sure you'll rock every show. And if you need anything, just let me know," he said, looking into her eyes tenderly.

Taylor smiled and turned to face him, her eyes shining with a mixture of love and sadness.

— "I'm going to miss you so much," she admitted, her voice shaking a little. "These days we spent together were so special."

As the time to leave approached, the house was filled with a sense of urgency, but also a deep affection. Taylor and Thomas prepared to say goodbye, and each moment became more precious. Taylor finished packing her last bag and turned to Thomas, who stood beside her with a worried expression.

— "You seem so calm about this," she commented, noticing his calmness.

— "I trust you and I know everything will be okay. And I also know that, despite the distance, our love will remain strong," Thomas replied, pulling her into a tight hug.

Taylor snuggled into his arms, feeling the warmth and security he provided. It was a comforting feeling, but also a painful reminder that they were about to part ways.

— "I promise I'll call you every day," Taylor said, looking up at him with a loving smile. "And I'll tell you everything about the tour."

Thomas smiled and cupped her face in his hands, leaning in to place a soft kiss on her lips.

— "I can't wait to hear everything. And I promise I'll be here for you, even if I'm miles away," he replied, his gaze full of love and determination.

With time passing quickly, the goodbye arrived. Taylor and Thomas stood in the driveway of the house, where Taylor's car was parked, ready to take her to the airport. Taylor was dressed in a stylish coat and jeans, ready to face the journey. Thomas, dressed casually, stood by her side, holding her hand tightly.

"I'm going to miss you so much," Taylor whispered, her eyes beginning to fill with tears.

"I'm going to miss you too," Thomas replied, his own eyes shining with emotion. "But we're going to make it work. Every call, every text, will bring us closer together."

Taylor nodded and, with a sad smile, gave Thomas one last kiss. It was a kiss full of deep feelings, a mix of longing and love. Their lips met in a long, passionate kiss, as if they were trying to hold on to the moment as long as possible. When they broke apart, they both had tears in their eyes, but also a hopeful smile on their faces.

— "Remember, I'll be thinking about you the whole time," Thomas said, wiping a tear from Taylor's face with his thumb.

— "And I'll tell you every detail of the shows," Taylor promised, her voice a little muffled with emotion.

After the final kiss, Taylor grabbed her bags and got into the car. Thomas walked her to the door, watching as she settled into the driver's seat and adjusted the mirrors.

— "Call me as soon as you get there," Thomas said, leaning in to give her one last kiss on the cheek.

— "I'll do that. And don't forget to text me too," Taylor replied, winking at him.

As the car began to pull away, Thomas stood on the sidewalk, watching the farewell. The sight of Taylor leaving was accompanied by a sense of longing, but also by a deep certainty that their love was strong enough to withstand the distance.

Hours later, when Taylor arrived at the airport and settled into her flight, she made her first phone call.

The call was made with mixed emotions, but also with the joy of knowing that they would be connected, even from a distance.

— "Hi, did you get there okay?" Thomas answered quickly, his voice full of expectation.

— "Yes, I just got here. The flight was smooth," Taylor replied, her voice relieved to hear his voice.

— "That's great! I'm counting the days until I see you again," Thomas said, feeling the familiarity and comfort in her voice.

— "I'm counting the days too. I'll keep you updated on everything that's happening," Taylor promised, her tone cheerful despite the longing.

While Taylor traveled and performed her shows, Thomas was back to his role as Kendall's bodyguard. They kept in touch daily, exchanging calls and messages, updating each other on the events and keeping their bond strong and vibrant.

Their relationship was stronger than ever, and the temporary separation only served to reinforce the love and connection they shared. Every call, every text, was a reminder of how much they meant to each other.

The beginning of April brought with it a new phase for Taylor and Thomas, marked by temporary separations and the adjustment to a new routine.

Despite the distance, the love between them continued to blossom, and the promises made during their farewell kept their relationship vibrant and full of hope.

As the weeks passed, the certainty that they would be together again soon helped to soften the longing, and the love they shared only grew stronger.
