Chapter 70: A Visit to Hailey and Justin

The gentle April breeze was just beginning to soften the heat of the day as Thomas and Kendall prepared for a visit that promised to be filled with warmth and fond memories. Kendall had recently expressed a desire to see her close friends Hailey and Justin Bieber, and Thomas, always attentive to his "little sister's" needs, agreed to accompany her. The visit to the Biebers' house promised a relaxing day filled with good conversation, something Kendall was eager to experience.

It was a bright, sunny morning when Thomas and Kendall left their Beverly Hills home. Kendall was excited and, at the same time, a little nostalgic, thinking about the memories she had shared with Hailey and Justin. She wore a light, casual dress, perfect for the spring weather, and her hair was down, gently waving in the wind.

Thomas, at her side, was dressed casually in a cotton T-shirt and jeans, with a light jacket that added a touch of sophistication to his otherwise laid-back look. He looked relaxed and comfortable, happy to accompany Kendall on a visit he knew was important to her.

— "Are you excited to see Hailey and Justin?" Thomas asked as he drove.

— "Absolutely," Kendall replied, looking out the car window. "I miss them. We always had a lot of fun together, and it's nice to be able to relax and reminisce about old times."

After a pleasant drive, Thomas and Kendall arrived at the Bieber house. The property was a mix of elegance and comfort, with a well-kept garden and modern architecture that reflected the couple's personal style. Hailey and Justin had just returned from the gym and were finishing up preparing a light brunch for their friends.

Hailey was the first to spot Thomas and Kendall arriving and ran over to greet them with a warm hug.

— "Kendall! Thomas! It's so nice to see you!" Hailey exclaimed, a wide smile on her face. "Come on in, come on in. We're just starting to make something to eat."

Kendall smiled when she saw her friend and immediately hugged her.

Justin appeared shortly after, wearing a t-shirt and shorts, his hair still a little damp from the gym. He greeted Thomas and Kendall with a warm smile and a firm handshake.

— "Hey guys! How are you?" Justin asked, looking at them with a friendly look. "I hope you're ready for a great brunch."

As Hailey and Justin finished preparing brunch, everyone sat outside, where a table was set up under a pergola decorated with soft lights. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, with the sun filtering through the leaves of the trees.

— "So, what's new in your lives?" Hailey asked, as she passed a tray of fresh fruit to the table.

— "Oh, you know how it is," Kendall began, taking a bite of a slice of watermelon. "Just the usual. I missed you all and thought I'd come visit."

Thomas, standing next to Kendall, smiled and added,

— "And I'm just checking in with Kendall. It's always nice to be around friends, especially when you're so busy with work."

The conversation flowed naturally as everyone helped themselves and enjoyed the meal. Laughter and stories were shared enthusiastically, and there was a sense of reconnection in the air. Hailey and Kendall talked about fashion and recent events, while Justin and Thomas chatted about sports and life experiences.

— "You won't believe the last thing that happened," Hailey began, as she passed Kendall a plate of pancakes. "We had a little incident with a friend's dog, and it was a real comedy."

Everyone laughed as Hailey told a story about a mischievous dog who had caused a bit of a ruckus at a party.

— "Oh yeah, pets always bring excitement to life," Thomas commented, as he helped himself to some bacon.

After brunch, the group decided to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the garden and playing some lighthearted games. Justin brought out a guitar and started playing some tunes, creating a soothing soundtrack to the day.

Kendall and Hailey, with a glass of lemonade in hand, chatted animatedly about future projects and personal plans. Thomas joined them, occasionally joining in the conversation and sharing his own stories.

— "You know, I always thought it was easier to find a balance between personal life and work," Thomas said, looking at Justin's guitar. "But after a few years, I realize it's more about finding time for the things that really matter carry".

Hailey nodded, looking at Thomas with an understanding smile.

— "You're absolutely right. And having moments like this are really precious. Sometimes we need to stop and appreciate what we have."

As the sun began to set, the temperature was getting cooler and the late afternoon light created a cozy atmosphere. The group decided to settle in around an outdoor fire pit, where they enjoyed roasting marshmallows and deep conversations.

— "I really enjoyed spending this time with you guys," Kendall said, looking at Hailey and Justin. "It was great to see everyone again and just relax."

— "I really enjoyed it too," Hailey replied, extending her hand for a goodbye hug. "We'll try to get together more often. I miss moments like this."

Justin and Thomas also said goodbye with a firm handshake and a friendly hug. The day was a comforting reminder of the importance of friendships and the simple moments we share with those we love.

— "Remember, the door is always open for you," Justin said as he helped Kendall and Thomas load their things into the car.

— "Absolutely," Kendall replied, smiling. "I'll remember that."

When Thomas and Kendall finally got into the car to head home, there was a sense of satisfaction in the air. Kendall seemed lighter and happier after the day of visiting and talking to his friends.

— "It was a great day, wasn't it?" Thomas asked as he drove home.

— "Yeah, it was wonderful. I'm so glad we got to meet up with Hailey and Justin," Kendall replied, leaning back in the seat with a relaxed smile.

Thomas smiled and took Kendall's hand, holding it tightly as they drove.

— "Me too. And if you need more days like this to reconnect with friends, I'll always be there for you."

The rest of the journey was filled with a sense of peace and contentment. Kendall and Thomas knew that despite the many changes in their lives, friendships and the moments shared with those they love continue to be a constant source of joy and support.
