Chapter Seventeen & Eighteen

She opened her eyes slowly to see a small crowd of people by her bedside. She regained her senses immediately and yelled, "My baby!"

"Here, Bianca", Archie appeared by her side with Rafael in his arms.

"Oh! He's not hurt", She looked at her fingers that were badly bruised and coughed out some blood.

"Doctor!!", Ren screamed with fear in his poor eyes. He couldn't take it anymore by seeing her in that state so he had called Archie immediately and the ambulance contacted him as a family member.

"Calm down, buddy", Archie scolded him for frightening Rafael.

"I can't calm down, okay? She just spat out the red stuff and you expect me to calm down. For real, Archie?", Ren interrogated with anger.

"Calm down man. You know I care about her too, don't you?", Archie replied and he sighed.

Just then, the doctor and nurse rushed in to attend to her.

"You shouldn't be up, Miss Bianca", The doctor scolded her.

"Mama", Rafael stretched his hand to her and slapped Archie on the face.

"Oh jeez", Archie cried out and dropped Rafael immediately. "Man, that was sharp! I didn't know you now slap. You're such a bad baby", he continued whining.

Bianca smiled as she watched Rafael take baby steps to meet her.

"Oh Bianca! Thank goodness you're fine", Bebe rushed in too with worry on her face.

Unlike Archie, Ren was too stunned to speak. He can't believe he was actually seeing the sister of Rhys Bennett as in Bebe Bennett.

'Fuck!!!', he screamed in his mind again that was about to burst any moment.

"Hi!", Archie said to her.

"Hi boys", She replied.

"Hello Bebe Bennett. I'm a huge fan-"

Rafael's cry interrupted Ren's speech as Bebe picked him from the floor. He has hit his head on the iron of the hospital bed in the process of walking to his mother.

"Serves you right, you little devil", Archie had a good laugh.

"Did you just say that to him?", Bebe gasped.

Archie then knew he was done for, "It seems like Bianca needs me to bring her something…important"

Bianca watched him go out of the door with a smirk on his face.

"Don't worry. You look beautiful", Bebe laughed when they were alone in the room.

"Seems like my brother would finally be in love with you", She added and Bianca raised her brow.

"Don't you know?", Bebe asked and sat on the little space Bianca created for her.

Rafael crept out of Bebe's arms and crawled to his mother who gladly picked him up and kissed his cheeks.

"I literally think my brother has a thing for you", Bebe added and Bianca scoffed.

"I'm being real, girl", Bebe laughed.

"Yeah", Bianca laughed too and asked after some time, "How's he?"

"Good but he passed out while worrying about you", She said.

"Oh my god! Is his condition that bad?", Bianca asked.

"Oh my! Are you worried right now? I thought you hated him", Bebe watched her reaction closely and smiled.

"I still do. He's a huge jerk", Bianca laughed and froze when she heard Rhys' voice.

"Am I?", He asked and stood by the door.

Bianca had her heart racing after hearing his deep sexy voice but again, her heartbeat stopped when she saw him.

Damn!

He's still sexy though he's in hospital stuff.

"Am I really a jerk?", He asked and walked to her using the support from an iron stroller.

"Yes", Bianca said and Bebe covered her mouth in surprise. She was really surprised at the boldness and audacity Bianca was emitting.

"Seems like someone is about to get firedddddd", Bebe sang.

"I don't mind because I'm resigning soon", Bianca smiled.

Bianca was too embarrassed when Rafael kept tugging at her breasts. He kept trying to show a part of the skin that was around her mammalian gland.

'Come on Rafael. Just hold on, you glutton!', Bianca scolded him and laughed awkwardly.

"Why don't you feed him? It's not like I didn't see it that night", Rhys said and Bianca threw a pillow at it.

"Damn you, Rhys. It obviously grew bigger", Bebe added and Bianca was redder than the reddest tomato on the planet earth.

'Damn these siblings!', Bianca closed her eyes.

"Fine. I'm leaving. I'll come see you later baby", He said and she glared at him.

"I'm talking to the baby…Rafael", He gulped when he saw the glare sent to him.

"Better…jerk", She said.

"You liar", Bianca rolled her eyes.

"Girl, that's sexy", Bebe laughed and Bianca joined in the laughter.

Rebecca slapped Khalid on the face and he staggered. He was steady once again but she slapped him harder the second time.

"You bastard! Why can't you do anything right? No wonder Luca fired you for the little mistake you made", Rebecca growled at him.

"I'm sorry ma'am", He bowed his head.

"Don't be sorry for me you, psychotic fool. You told me he wasn't going to be hurt but not only did you make him injure his leg. You also almost made him to lose his fucking manhood!!", Rebecca pushed him and he staggered.

"Forgive me ma'am. I didn't know-"

"No you didn't, Khalid. That's why I have a solution to every problem", She smiled evilly.

"What is that?", Khalid was now afraid because he didn't see that coming.

"Don't forget to tell them your full name. It is Khalid Michaelson", She said and saw him move weirdly.

"What have you done to me?", Khalid asked and held his head that was spinning.

"Nothing much. I just did a little something to your body", She replied and heard the siren in the distance.

"You're gonna confess you made that little accident and forget about having a deal with me. You failure!", She spat and left him there helpless for the cops to manhandle.

Nana looked at Bianca's seat many times and sighed. That was the third day she was absent from work. She was worried because it was like she had been fired.

But how could she be so sure when the boss himself was nowhere to be found?

Huh?

Did they go somewhere together or is she just jumping to conclusions?

"Isn't your friend coming again?", Nana asked Evie, who was chewing gum loudly.

"Who?", Evie asked with disgust even though she knew who she was talking about.

"Bianca of course", Nana actually rolled her eyes.

"I guess she's fired or who knows…something bad has happened to her", Evie replied.

"Really?", Nana raised her brows to look at Evie suspiciously.

"Wait!", Evie paused and removed the earpiece from her ear. "Don't tell me you now suspect me because I said that"

Nana was taken aback by her accusation and replied, "What am I to suspect you of?"

Evie then knew that she was stupid. She then laughed to shake off the soon-to-be tense moment. "You fell for my joke. That was impressive", She added.

"Yeah", Nana said after some time and kept to herself after watching Evie mutter inaudible words to herself like a crazy woman.

"Crazy bitch", She said under her breath and resumed her work after ignoring Wyatt's call for the fourth time that morning.

"Yeah! I was damn right! You are dodging my call, Nana!!", She suddenly heard Wyatt's angry voice and looked up to see him approaching her.

Before he could reach her, she jumped up from her seat and ran to the toilet.

Wyatts waved at the female staff that flirted with him and dashed out of the place after apologizing for interrupting them.

The guys rolled their eyes at the stupidity of the dumb females. Yeah, it was really stupid to fall in love with a person that can never go out with you except in your god-damned dream!

Nana was surprised when she met Wyatts waiting for her by the entrance of the toilet.

"Why were you waiting here? What if I had released a big smelly fart?", She asked and he scrunched his nose.

"Do you do that? That's improper of a lady", Wyatts replied.

"Do you really want to smell some fragrance! pur dear Lord gave me naturally?", She asked and he pulled her hand.

"Where are we going? Do you realize that I'm working?", Nana asked as he continued to drag her.

"For check-up", He plainly said.

Nana smiled and thought he really cared for her and the tiny thing in her. "I'm actually fine, Wyatts"

"Not like I cared. Grandpa asked me to do this", He said and she broke the connection immediately with anger.

"Oh-oh!", She placed her hands on her hips in an akimbo style. "Grandfather asked me to do this", She repeated his words and he sighed.

"Don't make a scene, Nana", Wyatt warned.

"Why? Cause the audience isn't here yet?", She asked.

"Grandfather -"

"If you're so keen on going for a check-up, why don't you go yourself or take your grandfather since you now care!", Nana said furiously and walked out on him in pure rage.

"Bastard!", She hissed but he heard her all the same.

"Damn you, Nana", Wyatts cursed and left the company for a famous bar in the streets.

Axel picked his phone to call Bianca when he heard a hushed conversation taking place in an isolated place in the company.

He was meant to be thrilled as soon as he saw Rebecca Mitchell but he wasn't. She was talking to one of his colleagues and he recognized her as Evie. She was Bianca's best friend.

"Can you go visit her or something?", He heard Rebecca say to Evie.

"What of that guy at the library? He was our classmate. He's innocent", Evie replied and Rebecca scoffed.

"Do you have a thing for that nerdy nigga?", Rebecca hissed and Evie didn't reply.

"He needs to be free or we'll all be caught", Evie said in a hush voice.

"Really?", Rebecca asked and added, "I think I need to be scared…bitch"

Axel heard her laughter and couldn't go on eavesdropping so he just made them known of his appearance by pretending as if he had been on the phone from a distance.

Rebecca was flattered when Axel had to end his call in her front. She sent Evie away immediately and listened to what a handsome guy like Axel had to say to her.

"Hi!", Rebecca said and lightly waved even though he was right in front of her.

"Hey", Axel said and put his phone in his pocket.

"I guess you're here for the boss but he's not here actually", Axel said with a smile.

"Yeah, that's true. It must be hard for people like you to go through a lot due to your boss' absence, right?", She frowned.

"Not really because it was caused by people like you", Axel replied and she widened her eyes.

"Sorry?", Rebecca raised her brow.

"Don't say that to me. Wait till you see them both, miss 'Becca", Axel smirked and left.

Rebecca folded her fists angrily and stared at the retreating figure of Axel. She screamed so loud and stared at her reflection in a nearby mirror.

EVENING [R.B Hospital]

Rafael laid on Bianca's bed with a little blanket covering his tiny body. His little fist was curled together and his little eyes were tightly shut. Archie had laughed a lot when he saw him in that position.

"He went to bed angry, right?", He asked when he walked in.

Bianca nodded to his question because that was the real truth.

"What did you do this time?", Archie asked and sat on the sofa but he jumped up immediately he sat there.

"What the fuck are you doing, Archie? Are you now blind because you're getting married?", Camila suddenly revealed herself.

"What the fuck? i didn't know you were there, Cam", Archie said. He was starting to get angry now.

"So, you were really blind?", Camila continued.

"Please guys, you won't want to wake up this boy, would you?", Bianca had dark eyes because she hasn't slept well. It was all because of Rafael. She has refused to feed him naturally and forced him to eat processed food.

Actually, he ate it but not after crying for hours and biting her wherever he wanted. He also received some spankings from her for being a bad baby.

"Why did you come here?", Camila asked with her hands folded under her breasts.

"Can't I come and see Bianca anymore?", Archie laughed.

"Okay, you've seen her. Off you go now", Camila bickered.

"Shut up, Camila", Archie pushed her head and she pulled his ear and hair in return. They began to scream "let go" in chorus.

Bianca frowned deeply when she looked at Rafael and he was glaring at her.

"Fuck!", She also screamed and got off the bed.

Axel who has been at the door laughed hard when he was done watching the funny scenario in the ward. Bianca didn't see what happened funny but she glared at Camila and Archie for waking Rafael up.

She wants the ground to swallow her up right there. She was not ready to sing any lullaby to Rafael so he could fall asleep again. She was not ready to stay up so he could fall asleep. She was not ready to go on another round with him so he could give her a sleepless night.

"I'll take him", Camila offered and took Rafael in her arms immediately.

"I'll accompany her", Archie chirped in and followed Camila out of the ward with Rafael in her arms.e
