Devon arrived at the St. James residence and he made his way toward Samuel who was sitting in the living room. "Sir, I got the phone," Devo said as he pulled out the phone from his pocket and handed it over to Samuel.
Samuel opened his eyes to hear Devon's words. He took the phone from Devon and pressed the button to turn it on. The screen turned on and on the lock screen there was Samuel and Kaitlin's wedding picture. "Why would she have this?" Samuel asked, shaking his head he turned toward Devon, "Do you know the passcode?"
Devon cleared his throat, "It's your wedding day sir," Devon said as he looked at Samuel.
Samuel put in the day, and in the background of the home screen was a picture of Samuel. 'When did you take this picture.' As Samuel was contemplating a message appeared on the screen.
You should divorce Samuel as soon as you can we both know he does not love you and that he is only with you because he didn't have a choice.
Samuel couldn't believe what he was seeing, he touched the message and the treat of messages appeared on the screen. Messages and pictures one after another filled the screen. "What the hell are these messages?" Samuel said as he handed the phone over to Devon to take a look at.
"I will investigate it immediately Sir and confirm the sender," Devon said as he took the phone. He pulled out his phone and started to type the information he needed to get the search started before handing the phone back to Samuel.
"Make it as fast as you can," Samuel said. "You can go."
Devon turned around and headed out the door.
Samuel opened the phone once again and started going through it all the information that the cell phone contained so far was information about him. There were a couple of pictures that Samuel had taken with Kaitlin in the last four years but most of the pictures were of Samuel.
Samuel's phone began to ring he placed Kaitlin's phone on the coffee table table and picked up his phone Nathan's name appeared on the screen.
"Hello, Nathan," Samuel said. Nathan and Samuel had been friends since high school, he was both Kaitlin's and Celia's brother.
"What the hell have you done with my sister?" Nathan's angry voice came over the speaker.
The day after Kaitlin Disappeared
Alina was waiting in Nathan's office, she had decided to show Nathan the error of his ways and if he couldn't see those errors then she would just have to do what Kaitlin did and do a disappearing act herself.
"Good morning, Ali, what are you doing here?" Nathan said as sat down in his desk chair.
"Have you talked to Kait?" Alina asked as she looked Nathan in the eyes.
"No, I haven't talked to her in a couple of weeks," Nathan said.
"You are a horrible brother," Alina said getting up, "You do not deserve Kait."
Nathan got up from his chair, "Wait, Ali, what do you mean?"
Alina gave him a small smile and said, "Kaitlin is gone you are probably never going to see her again."
"No, she is at her house with Samuel," Nathan said pulling out his phone.
"No she is not, Samuel had a business trip and you will never guess who was going to be there too," Alina said turning around at the door to look at Nathan.
"Samuel and Celia are just friends," Nathan said, "for goodness sake, Celia is our sister and she would never steal Kaitlin's husband from her.
Alina walked back and stood in front of Nathan's desk, she pulled out an envelope from her side pocket and dropped it at the desk, "This is for you please look at them and then you can tell me that your precious Celia is an angel." Alina said.
Nathan picked up the envelope and opened it up, inside were pictures of Samuel and Celia together in the pictures you could tell that there was affection between the two of them. There were also screenshots of conversations Celia had with Kaitlin where she told her that she was just her replacement since she looked a bit similar to her. "What the fuck is all this?" Nathan said throwing the papers back onto the desktop.
"That Nathan is how your sister has been living life for the past four years," Alina said, "Did you ever pay attention to what she was going through? Did you know that Laura was mistreating her and since Samuel would back up his sister there was not much Kaitlin could do? She knew she couldn't count on you."
"No, that is not true, I love my sister," Nathan said looking from the picture scattered on his desktop to Alina.
"That is neither here nor there, Kaitlin is tired of both of you and has left." Alina said know for sure you only have to worry about your precious Celia." Alina said, "Besides that, I don't have any more information for you, but you can try calling her, and see if she picks up."
Alina turned around once more and headed to the double doors of the office, "This is not the Nathan I know, investigate or whatever is that you do, and then make it up to your sister," Alina said after she had said her peace and walked out the door.
Nathan fell to his chair and he pulled himself back toward the desk, he went through every one of those pictures and papers. "Rafael! Rafael!" Nathan shouted from inside his office.
Rafael who had not been far away came hurriedly into the office, "Yes sir," Rafael said, he expected to see the office trashed but that was not the case instead there were papers surrounding Nathan's desk.
"Looked into all of this I want to know what has been happening to my sister in her past four years of marriage," Nathan said handing the pictures and papers over to Rafael.
"Understood, I will get you the information," Rafel said collecting all the papers.
Nathan couldn't believe that what was going on was really reality.
