Scarlet was enrolled in the Villainess Academy to learn how the world of evil truly operates. She possessed hearts so pure and innocent that were often considered naive, easily believing whatever she was told, which made her seem foolish in the eyes of others. Hide in Shadows

My next class is with House Obsiusfang. In this house, I'm supposed to learn how to summon spirits, which is primarily for students with elemental magic. Most of them manage to summon divine beasts—powerful creatures bound to their magic.

A soft, unexpected sound catches my attention. A... cat? I glance around, as I felt so confused. Animals aren't allowed in the academy, right?

And since curiosity gets the best of me, I follow the sound, my footsteps echoing down the empty hallway. As I turn a corner, there, peeking from behind a pillar, is a small, sleek creature. I thought it was a cat, this little one looks more like a baby fox. Its fur is jet black, and its emerald eyes gleam with intelligence, studying me closely.

I crouch down, extending my hand cautiously. "What are you doing here, little one?" I murmur, still puzzled.
