Scarlet was enrolled in the Villainess Academy to learn how the world of evil truly operates. She possessed hearts so pure and innocent that were often considered naive, easily believing whatever she was told, which made her seem foolish in the eyes of others. "What happened?" I heard Jenna ask, her voice groggy but steady.

"That's my question too," I replied, realizing we were all now sitting up on our beds, looking around in confusion.

"We didn't get into a fight, right?" Sera asked, frowning as she tried to piece things together.

"Not that I remember," I said. "We were… in that last part of the test, with our reflections. Aren't we supposed to still be in the labyrinth?"

Jenna shook her head, clearly as lost as the rest of us. "It doesn't make sense. One minute we're facing our reflections, and the next… we're here."

We all fell silent, each of us grappling with the strange gap in our memory. Whatever had happened, it was like something had just erased that part of the test or maybe even taken control.

"Did we lose?" Jenna asked, her voice filled with uncertainty.
