She reminisces

She will never forget the sound of her parents' screams, the smell of stale cigarette smoke, and the feeling of helplessness that gripped her as a child. Growing up, her home was a war zone, where love and kindness were distant memories. Her parents' constant fighting and my mom's addiction to alcohol and cigarettes created an environment that was toxic and unpredictable.

As the oldest child, she felt responsible for her siblings' well-being. She tried to shield them from the chaos, but it was impossible. They were all affected, each in their own way. She remember nights when they would huddle together, listening to their parents' arguments, wondering if this would be the night they'd finally kill each other.

Despite the challenges, Blue found solace in school and relationships with her friends. They became her escape, her safe haven. But even those relationships were tainted by the drama at home. She'd often find herself withdrawn, unable to share her feelings or concerns with anyone.

When she turned 18, Blue knew she had to leave. She couldn't take it anymore. Blue moved in with her grandma, who'd always been a source of comfort and support. Her grandmother helped her get a job at a local bakery, where she worked hard to save money and build a better life; it was a new life and an unexpected twist.

Years went by, and blue worked tirelessly to turn her life around. She finished college, landed her dream job as an event planner and built a supportive network of friends. She was proud of herself and the life she'd created.

But life had other plans. Ever since she met him – Jack, a handsome and charming stranger who swept her off her feet; she never she would never remain the same but not in this manner. They had talked for hours, sharing stories and laughter, and she felt a connection she hadn't felt in years.

But the next morning, reality hit her like a ton of bricks. Jack showed her a text message with death threats, and she was shocked. In a panic, Blue grabbed her things and ran out of the apartment, leaving behind most of her belongings.

The days that followed were a blur. She was in denial, trying to process what had happened. And then, the unthinkable occurred – she discovered she was pregnant.

At first, she was in shock. She didn't know what to do or how to feel. she felt like my world had been turned upside down. Blue confided in her cousin Sally, who advised to abort the child. But something inside Blue wouldn't let her even consider it.

She struggled to come to terms with the pregnancy, I realized that I had to make a decision that would affect the rest of her life. She was torn between the desire to provide a better life for her child and her fear of being a single mother.

With unplanned circumstances and new beginnings, she decided to embrace the journey life made her embark on. The months that followed were a rollercoaster of emotions. She struggled to balance her pregnancy, career and personal life. There were days when she felt like she was losing myself, like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty.

But as her belly grew, so did her love for her unborn child. Blue started to feel a sense of purpose, a sense of responsibility that fear masked off over the years. She realized that she was no longer just fighting for herself, but for her child's future.

She had initially vowed never to see Jack; she would hide herself and her daughter from Jack and his cruel world. How funny it sounds now realizing how the emotions she thought was buried burst out at Jack's reappearance.

As Blue looked at Ivy, she knew that she had made the right decision. She knew that facing challenges as a single mother was all fun and games, but she is ready. Blue is ready to fight for her child's future, to provide her with the love and support she deserves. The threats and the paranoia of being followed around wasn't helping but she knew it was a wake up call to end things with Jack even if it would not be an easy task.

The few minutes reminisce was a relief to Blue, it just brought a sense of determination washing over her. She would would do whatever it took to be safe, to keep Ivy safe. She would face whatever challenges came her way, head-on.

"I need to strategize on what to do right now. I can't live like this forever" Blue blurted out as soon as she saw Sally enter the house.

"Chill babes. Let's recap"
