MH Division[1]

Ragnar starting pacing around his room alone, comptemplating.

'If that brat is here then that means he must have been here to either to get back at us or for a completely different reason'

'You just can't know when he is involved! Atleast his father is just a brute! But that kid is a hell of a mastermind...'

Ragar stopped pacing around around and stopped by his desk, looking at the photo of him and his family.

A younger Ragnar with no beard was standing next to a beautiful women with blond hair and blue eyes. Between them was a restless a little girl in a dress.

He picked it up and muttered to himself "The last photo before you left us... Amanda... I..."

Ragnar's voice trembled. He quickly shook his head and placed it back down.

"I have work to do, people to protect and... people to kill"

He turned to the door and resolved himself once more.

What was it exactly? Only he knows.

...

The operations of the survivors were going smoothly.

They made divisions for cooking, cleaning, and other non-dangerous activities, as well divisions for activities like exploration, fortification, monster hunting, etc.

And currently, the monster hunting division was preparing to leave.

"So Atlas, that's why I need you to go with the monster hunting division!"

Atlas, who was preparing out for a solo mission, looked back in a stupor.

"I know it's a stupid reason, but many of the retired soldiers are out of practice! We will mostly be using sabers due to the scarcity of bullets, so I really hope you supervise, or atleast be with them just for today!"

It was strange sight seeing a two metre tall giant pleading a lean, seemingly weak and relatively small compared to him, with joined palms.

"Um, you do know who I'm going out to search for right?"

Ragnar scoffed "You also know that they can survive by themselves!"

Atlas thought for a second and came to a decision quickly.

"Alright, I'll go with them. But why is there shortage if bullets? Don't you guys have the police station and your guys' hidden stashes?" Atlas questioned.

"Well... our stash isn't enough for a long time time, especially with the Syndicate ready to strike at any time"

"And as for the police station... I'll tell you later"

Atlas looked at the monster hunter division, comprising of about a dozen or so people, and started leaving, but he then quickly turned back and said.

"Remember, you owe me one!"

He then turned around and jogged towards them.

"Hey! It's the cap's friend! He said he was gonna join us!"

The man raises his hand for a handshake.

'Chill dude'

Atlas shook it and replied "it's great to be with ya'll. I'm Atlas"

"The name's Justin, but people call me the Tin Tin"

Atlas cringed at his words.

"Ragnar is still giving people crappy nicknames? I'll just call you Justin"

The whole division started laughing and quickly they left, all talking amongst themselves.

...

After they all walked for a few minutes Justin started briefing the MH Division(Monster Hunting) "Now, our purpose is to purge the goblins around here. Rescuing any people we may find and marking the location of potential important locations like supplies, shelter points, etc."

"Now, with what we know, goblins are at most in groups of five, so we will all split in groups of six, meaning two different groups"

Justin soon equally divided manpower.

"I will lead one group while Atlas will lead the other, alright?"

The rest agreed, not complaining at the fact Atlas was leading die to their immense respect for Ragnar.

"Alright, now let's split! We need cover up as much ground as possible, but remember to play it safe. Goblins may not be strong but they may be able to deliver fatal blows before dying"

Soon they split and Atlas was left wondering about what Justin said.

'How did he find all this out? I don't think Ragnar would've been able to find all this out this quickly. Maybe it's just a rough estimation?'

Atlas shook his head.

'If so I'm disappointed in him, or whoever came up with that. Anyways, it's contradictory to what I saw last night and in the apartment, but maybe I'm just unlucky'

Atlas stopped thinking and asked the people.

"Now, does anyone live around here? If so, help would be greatly appreciated"

Atlas asked with a wry smile.

Soon a familiar looking man came of of his group of six.

"Oh, Michael?"

"The cap's friend knows our little cinnamon roll, wow!"

Atlas was pleasantly surprised; he didn't even notice him!

"Uhh, uh yeah. Why do you sound so surprised to see me? Wasn't I here the whole time..." He sulked. The rest were rufling his hair like he was their younger brother.

"A-anyways, I live around here so I know the place a bit"

It seemed as though he behaved differently than when he was with the civilians.

Or Maybe because his life wasn't in danger. Who knows?

"There should be a street around here that should have a nuch of stores. Maybe we could mark that place for supplies?"

Atlas smiled. He understood why the others treated him like a little brother. The guy just gave off the vibes!

"Alright kiddo, let's go!"

They soon made their way to the street and Atlas decided to split them off.

"Alright, there doesn't seem to be much danger around here, or atleast from what I can tell"

One of the soldiers spoke up.

"How can you tell sir?"

Atlas laughed at his antics.

"I'm no soldier, no need to call me soldier. And as for your question"

He casually looked around.

"From my meetings with goblins, they stink, are noisy and aren't really that smart, so I don't think so they'll be hiding an ambush. And that was last night, think about how stinky they'll be now. Anyways, they might also be hungrier and therefore more impatient for prey"

Atlas the looked back and smiled.

"And also my gut says so"

The soldiers decided to follow Atlas' words. Not only because they trusted Ragnar, but because enough crazy things had happened already.

"And cinnamon roll, come with me. The rest, check the area around here and mark what is here!"

"Alright!"

As they were leaving, he could hear them mutter something about himncalling Michael a cinnamon roll.

He turned back to Michael.

"Anyways, let's go further down the street"

Michael nodded.

"I have a feeling there might be something interesting there"
