A Journey of Secrets Part 0

Rawa revised everything what happened untill Prince Hima started discussion about magic -

They arrived at the barracks, and Prince Hima was already there, waiting. "I was waiting for you, Rawa Vols," he said calmly, his eyes locking onto Rawa's. He scrutinized Rawa for a moment, then continued, "We are leaving for Kingdom Doot." There was no room for debate in his tone. Rawa swallowed hard, knowing he couldn't refuse.

"It will take about a month to reach Kingdom Doot," Prince Hima added, his gaze still piercing. Rawa remained silent, unsure of what to say.

"You haven't spoken a word since you arrived," Prince Hima remarked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Rawa hesitated before responding, his voice low. "I'm avoiding conversation. I might say something unnecessary in front of a prince… and it could lead to my execution."

Prince Hima's lips curved into a slight smile. "I see. It must have been Professor Sutra who warned you about that."

Rawa held his gaze but kept his expression neutral. "No comment," he replied softly.

"Climb into the carriage," Prince Hima ordered, gesturing towards one of the two waiting carriages.

Without hesitation, Rawa obeyed. Prince Hima followed him, stepping into the same carriage and settling opposite him. "You have no choice here. We'll be traveling in the same carriage until we reach Kingdom Doot," Prince Hima stated firmly, a hint of authority in his voice. "The King of Doot has already arrived there through teleportation magic."

Rawa frowned slightly, his curiosity piqued. "Then why don't we use teleportation magic too?"

Prince Hima leaned back, studying Rawa closely. "I want to observe you carefully," he said. "That's why we're taking the carriage."

Rawa sighed softly. "As your wish, Your Highness."

With that, they left the capital, the two carriages moving in tandem—one for food supplies and the other filled with ten knights, five mages, and Prince Hima's Chief Exclusive Minister, all accompanying them on their journey.

Once the city's outskirts were behind them, Prince Hima shifted his gaze to Rawa. "You know," he began thoughtfully, "you're just a pawn."

He paused, watching Rawa's expression for any reaction. Then, he leaned forward slightly and added in a quieter voice, "For this world."

Rawa's eyes narrowed slightly. "So, what? I destroy the Earth?"

Prince Hima shook his head slowly, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "No. If you don't want to be just a pawn, you need to understand more about this world," he stated, his tone turning serious. "That's why Professor Sutra warned you. He knows that if you were to lose anyone close to you, you could wipe out an entire empire in seconds."

Rawa's eyes darkened, his voice low. "Indeed," he murmured, his expression guarded.

Prince Hima leaned back again, still smiling slightly. "You're not holding back now," he observed. "Aren't you afraid of your own execution?"

Rawa's gaze shifted, memories flashing in his eyes. "Sorry… some past memories just surfaced," he admitted quietly.

Prince Hima's smile softened. "No worries," he replied. "I'll explain everything to you now."

And with that, the two continued their tense conversation as the carriages rolled steadily along the winding roads, leaving Triveni behind.
