Alex POV:
I closed the documents, the soft rustle of the papers echoing through the silence. I sighed, my breath whispering secrets to the shadows. "Fate has bound me to this boy's destiny," I murmured. "Mr. Martin, your legacy is a weight I now carry."
My eyes narrowed, focusing on the whispers of the past. "Mr. Lewis's ambition was a web of deceit, but I will weave a new tapestry, one of protection and strength."
I stood up, my movements fluid as a summer breeze. "If our paths cross again, Martin, only one of us will walk away."
"I never chose to be a guardian, but fate has ordained it so," I whispered, my eyes closing like petals of a flower.
First-person POV:
The camera pans across the document, the words dancing like stars in the night sky: "When a family chooses a protector for their child, the weight of responsibility falls upon them like a mantle. And the chosen one must honor the family's last wish, no matter the cost."
