As the system voice chimed in, he felt his body becoming lighter, Ray felt his muscles filled with raw strength as he clenched his fist. His mana pool also growed.
"In one day I am crossing a rank without even doing nothing. Isn't it a little unfair that I advanced a rank without doing anything,hehe" Ray laughed.
"So which element should i unlock"
Ray thought about which element he should unlock after gaining a open slot. He already had fire for explosive offensive damage and lightning for speed. This he choose to go defence and unlock earth affinity.

As the affinity unlocked Ray felt a connection with the earth element in his body clearly. He tried to summon a rock in his palm and as the rock appeared instantly. He beamed while summoning multiple of rocks. No matter how much he try to believe he still felt somewhat unreal. Every child on earth would once have thought about using magic including himself. But now he can do it he can use real magic. While trying things like making fireball and and coating his arm with thunder energy a thought came to his mind.
"Hey system, why can't I use all the affinity at once.? You said the element and power except unique ability are all mine. "
(Yes, they are all yours but this body can't handle the energy of all elements until it's strong enough. Think about it like your new body right now is like a glass of water that can grow bigger and elemental energy as a water coming from a tap. As the glass will grow each passing second the water coming from the tap will not be able to fill it, but if the number of tap rose before the glass had grown big enough. It will simply overflow. So that your state right now, so as your body grows more affinity will be unlocked.)

Rey took out his academy uniform. The academy uniform was quite nice.The uniform was a white colour t-shirt with matching white colour upper with golden strips like pattern printed all over it combined with same coloured pants. A insignia of the ARCANIA ACADEMY was there on the left side of his chest on the upper. A green band was also there showing he was a first year. He tied his long hair with a band and equipped the watch given by the academy to every student and started moving out of his male academy dorms. After moving out as he took a glance at the building he judged that he was in the silver dormitory building.
The dormitory building were divided into five different parts - bronze, silver, gold, platinum and lastly diamond. The diamond building which was the most luxurious dormitory building in the academy was only reserved for the top 10 students of each. Though, right now the diamond dorm is empty.
'Well, not for long after all today will it start.'
Thought Ray as he recalled the whole novel in his mind, he soon also remembered that right now the protagonist was (E+) rank two sub rank higher than him but Ray didn't think about it much as he albeit a bit differently, had the same thing as the protagonist to grow stronger. Yes, Leon the protagonist also had system. Leon's system also can talk just like his. That's why he when he saw his system first he tried to communicate with it but his system doesn't contains emotions like his.
As he moved towards the canteen with the help of the holographic map displayed in front of him from his watch. He noticed the few students who were passing by glancing at him.
'Well with this face, i guess I have to get used to getting attention.' he thought inwardly and soon he reached canteen.
The canteen of the academy was large to say atleast. Several table and chairs were lined up in a neat manner for the students. There were several sections of food to choose from. Even though it's morning many students were still present at the canteen.
Ray choose his scrambled egg, avocado toast and cappuccino for his breakfast. He sat on the chair and started eating his meal.
"Delicious"
was first word that came to his mind as he took the bite of his food. He thought that Leon was just exaggerating when he sang praises for the food of the canteen as Ray knew how the food of the canteen taste like back on earth in his high school. It was just well let's not go there.
As Ray was eating his meal. He heard a commotion coming from his back. He turned around to see what was the cause of it and soon as he turned around he froze.
