Not to mention Killian—even Stark was a little confused at this moment.
Stark grew worried when he saw his villa surrounded.
After all, these people came well-prepared, equipped with a large arsenal of weapons.
If those helicopters really launched a missile attack, there was no telling whether his villa would survive.
At that moment, Stark suggested capturing Killian immediately.
After all, to catch a thief, you must first capture the leader.
Unexpectedly, Luo Bai remained calm and said there was no need to worry—Killian would come to them himself.
Stark didn't believe it at first, but now he was completely convinced.
Killian had really walked right into their hands.
Stark couldn't understand how everything had lined up so perfectly. What baffled him even more was the sudden shift in weather.
He frowned and looked out the window in confusion.
A moment ago, the sky was dark and filled with thunder and lightning. Now, it was completely clear?
Thinking of this, Stark couldn't help but mutter, "Seriously, shouldn't you be more curious… about why the weather cleared up so suddenly?"
"..."
At that moment, Killian's silence was deafening.
Was the sudden storm just an excuse to attack me?
No… who the hell did I offend?!
Killian couldn't make sense of it, but he didn't have time to dwell on the impossible.
He had come here to capture Stark. But instead, not only had he failed, but Stark had turned the tables on him.
Killian wasn't willing to accept this outcome.
Even though he was confused, he had no time to waste—he had to escape. Otherwise, Stark definitely wouldn't let him go!
His expression darkened.
He had been watching from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Now that he had been injected with the Extremis virus, he was no longer an ordinary human.
Even if Stark was wearing his suit, defeating him wouldn't be easy.
Killian planned to find an opening and escape.
Just as Stark's attention was on Luo Bai, Killian's eyes flashed fiercely, and he prepared to make his move.
CRASH!
The sharp sound of breaking glass shattered the tense atmosphere.
The next second, a hammer came hurtling through the window—smashing directly into Killian.
"Pfft!"
Blood spurted from his mouth as he was sent flying.
By the time he realized what had happened, a silver hammer had already pinned him to the ground.
Though the hammer looked ordinary, Killian felt as if a mountain was crushing him.
It was impossibly heavy—he couldn't move a muscle.
Pain surged through his body as he struggled, his face turning red.
He tried to cry for help, but the weight on his chest made speaking nearly impossible.
Barely squeezing out three weak words, he gasped: "Save... me..."
But his pleas were completely ignored.
Because, at that moment, a blond man in strange armor leaped through the shattered window.
The instant he entered, he drew everyone's attention.
Stark, after a brief silence, recognized him and called out, "Thor?"
Thor grinned. "Hey, Stark! Didn't expect you to remember me."
Although Stark was familiar with Thor, they weren't exactly close.
After all, the last time Thor had shown up was when Loki had come to Earth to cause trouble.
Now that Thor was here again, Stark couldn't help but feel uneasy.
"Why are you back on Earth? Don't tell me… Loki's here too?" Stark asked cautiously.
Thor quickly shook his head. "Loki is locked away in Asgard's dungeons. He won't be causing any trouble on Earth."
Then, turning to Luo Bai, he added, "I actually came here looking for you."
Luo Bai raised an eyebrow. "Me? Why?"
Thor's expression was serious. "My father wants to see you. He sent me to invite you to Asgard."
Odin wants to see me?!
Luo Bai frowned, intrigued. "Why?"
Thor sighed. "He didn't tell me. He just ordered me to bring you back. But… it looks like you're busy right now."
Thor glanced around the room. His gaze landed on Maya, who was tied up, and then on Killian, still trapped beneath Mjölnir.
Only then did he realize he hadn't retrieved his hammer yet.
Killian, crushed under the weight, was in unbearable pain. His weak, hoarse voice barely reached them: "Help... me..."
"Oh! My bad, brother." Thor chuckled. "I forgot to pick up my hammer."
He casually reached down and lifted Mjölnir.
The instant the hammer was removed, Killian felt an overwhelming sense of relief.
I can breathe again!
He sucked in deep gulps of air, savoring the feeling of being alive.
But just as he was about to celebrate his survival, he heard Stark's voice.
"You know, Thor, you should've just kept him pinned down. This guy was about to send helicopters to blow up my house. Luo Bai and I were just getting ready to deal with him."
Thor blinked in surprise. "Oh? He's the villain?"
Without hesitation, Thor slammed Mjölnir back onto Killian.
"..."
I F*CKING KNEW IT!
Killian wanted to curse, but he was so furious he couldn't even get the words out.
All he could do was lie there and listen to the conversation going on above him.
Thor, now realizing the situation, asked, "Wait, those helicopters outside… they were his?"
Stark nodded. "Yep. If Luo Bai hadn't been here, my villa would've been blown to pieces."
Thor stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm… You know, when I arrived, I noticed lightning striking down a few of them. I was wondering what that was about."
Everything suddenly clicked for Stark.
The abrupt storm… the lightning strikes… it all made sense now.
Thor had arrived.
This guy was literally the God of Thunder. Every time he showed up, storms followed.
"So the weather changed because of you," Stark muttered.
"Then I should really thank you for dealing with those helicopters."
Thor waved it off. "Nah, don't mention it. That was just a coincidence."
"Right… just a coincidence," Stark said sarcastically.
If it weren't for Luo Bai's ridiculous luck, how else would Thor have arrived at the perfect time to destroy those helicopters?
It was all just too convenient.
Stark sighed and muttered, "Honestly, I should just start thanking Luo Bai's luck at this point."
Thor tilted his head. "What luck?"
"Nothing," Stark brushed it off before turning to Luo Bai.
"Killian is already caught—I can take care of him from here. If you've got other things to handle, go ahead."
Luo Bai didn't respond right away, lost in thought.
Killian's forces had been taken down, but he himself was still a major threat.
The Extremis virus had greatly enhanced his combat abilities.
If Luo Bai left Stark to deal with him alone, things might not go so smoothly.
Besides, Luo Bai had some knowledge of the Extremis virus.
The side effects were severe, sure.
But as Maya had mentioned—if those side effects could be eliminated, the virus could become an incredible asset.
And that… was worth considering.
After all, this virus, developed based on the Super Soldier Serum template, could grant users enhanced strength and regenerative abilities once perfected.
If successfully refined, it would be an even more potent biological agent than the Super Soldier Serum, significantly boosting combat effectiveness.
Although it wasn't of much use to Luo Bai, it might come in handy in the future.
With that in mind, Luo Bai immediately said, "There's no rush. Thor, wait for me. I need to deal with the Extremis virus first."
He then turned to look at Killian.
Luo Bai knew that Killian was an ambitious man. Not only did he want to kill Stark, but he also aimed to use the Extremis virus to create a superhuman army and rule the world. He had been kidnapping people to conduct human experiments, and there was no way he would obediently cooperate.
A villain like him always had a few tricks up his sleeve, and Luo Bai had no time to waste dealing with him.
Fortunately, aside from Killian, Dr. Maya Hansen also had extensive knowledge of the Extremis virus.
Unlike Killian, Maya still had a conscience. She had originally studied the Extremis virus to benefit humanity, but she was ultimately manipulated by Killian.
It would obviously be much easier to work with her.
At this moment, the Fairy Power inside Luo Bai's consciousness was causing a commotion, constantly whining about being hungry.
So without hesitation, Luo Bai pulled both Killian and Maya into the Mirror Dimension.
The instant the Mirror Dimension unfolded, Thor recalled his hammer.
With the hammer no longer pinning him down, Killian instinctively tried to run—but it was too late.
"What is this place?!" Killian asked in horror, his eyes darting around at the shifting, distorted landscape around him.
"This is the Mirror Dimension—my domain," Luo Bai answered calmly.
Before Killian could react, Luo Bai unleashed his Fairy Power.
The moment it surged forward, it devoured the energy inside Killian's body.
In mere seconds, the Extremis-enhanced energy was completely drained, and the Fairy Power perfectly replicated the abilities of the Extremis virus.
While the Extremis virus was an overwhelming force for ordinary humans, it was nothing in the face of Fairy Power.
"Too little!!" The Fairy Power grumbled, unsatisfied with the meager energy it had consumed.
Before Luo Bai could restrain it, it lunged toward Maya, seemingly intending to absorb her as well.
Luo Bai quickly recalled the Fairy Power and communicated with it telepathically. "She's just an ordinary human. She doesn't have much power."
"…Hungry!!" The Fairy Power whined, still craving more energy.
Luo Bai was already used to its antics and simply ignored it. Instead, he turned his attention to Maya.
At this moment, Maya's face was deathly pale, filled with sheer terror.
Understandable.
After all, an ordinary person witnessing something like this would naturally be scared out of their mind.
Fear made people compliant.
Luo Bai decided not to say anything further and simply deactivated the Mirror Dimension.
The moment Luo Bai and Maya reappeared in the real world, Stark couldn't help but ask, "Where's Killian?"
"Dealt with," Luo Bai replied nonchalantly.
Before Stark could ask for details, Luo Bai continued, "After developing the Extremis virus, Killian conducted secret human experiments, injecting unwilling test subjects to create super-soldiers. His goal was to rule the world and gain absolute control over humanity."
"There's a secret base full of Extremis-enhanced individuals," Luo Bai added. "Tony, I think you should check it out."
Hearing this, Stark's expression turned serious. "Do you know the exact location?"
"Here." Luo Bai handed him a slip of paper with an address written on it.
Stark, being his usual impatient self, was about to rush off immediately—but Luo Bai stopped him.
"Stark, I suggest you study the Extremis virus first before heading there."
"That base is filled with enhanced soldiers. Their strength isn't something to take lightly."
"You should contact Captain America and the others to go with you," Luo Bai advised.
Stark took a deep breath, finally calming down. "Is the Extremis virus really that powerful?"
"Dr. Maya can explain it better than I can," Luo Bai said, nodding toward her. "I'll leave her with you. She knows everything."
After a brief pause, Luo Bai added, "The Extremis virus is indeed worth studying. Stark, with your intelligence, I believe you can find a way to integrate it into your suits."
Stark's eyes gleamed with interest. "I'll give it a shot."
Luo Bai didn't say anything else.
Now that Killian was out of the picture, Stark was no longer in any immediate danger.
With his genius, he would surely extract the Extremis formula from Dr. Maya and find a way to improve it.
Having wrapped up everything, Luo Bai turned to Thor. "Alright, let's go."
With a flick of his wrist, Luo Bai opened a portal, revealing Asgard on the other side.
The two stepped through and arrived in the realm of the gods.
As they walked, Thor let out a sigh. "Your magic is pretty convenient. Do all wizards on Earth know this trick?"
"Most of them can use it," Luo Bai replied casually.
At that moment, Thor seemed to recall something.
He muttered to himself, "Wait… no wonder this looks familiar. I remember seeing something like this a long time ago…"
"It appeared in Asgard, and then my hammer suddenly vanished. Heimdall said it was done by someone from Kamar-Taj. I even went to Earth to investigate…"
"But I never found Kamar-Taj," Thor continued, deep in thought. "My father said you're from Kamar-Taj as well."
Then, as if struck by lightning, Thor suddenly turned to Luo Bai, his eyes lighting up with realization.
"Luo Bai! Do you know if anyone from Kamar-Taj ever used this magic to steal my hammer?!"
Luo Bai: "!!!!!!"
Hearing this, Luo Bai finally remembered.
When he had first started learning magic, Mordo had challenged him to a sparring match…
And during that duel, he had—quite accidentally—snatched Thor's hammer.
Just as he was processing this memory, Thor's voice rang out again, this time filled with fury.
"This is a big deal! You're from Kamar-Taj—you must know something about this! I'm telling you, someone from your order stole my hammer!"
Luo Bai fell silent.
After a long pause, he finally spoke.
"You're asking the right person. I do know about this."
Thor's eyes widened. "Tell me who did it! If I ever meet that wizard, I'm going to have a serious talk with them! They took my hammer without a word and left me searching for three whole days! Three days!!"
Luo Bai sighed and decided to be honest.
"Thor… the one who took your hammer… was me."
"…?????!!!!"
Thor, who had been ranting just moments ago, suddenly went dead silent.
A long, awkward pause followed.
Then, after what felt like an eternity, Thor finally spoke.
"So it was you?! I spent three whole days looking for it!"
