Olivia's Ticket to Freedom

Olivia exhaled sharply and leaned forward. "I did not push Juliet," she stated, her voice filled with frustration. "Yes, I thought about it. Yes, I was furious. But I never laid a hand on her."

Stephanie searched Olivia's face for any sign of dishonesty, but years of dealing with her niece had made her skeptical. "Then, why would Juliet frame you?"

"Because we hate each other, Aunt Stephanie!" Olivia snapped. "She saw an opportunity and she took it! Before she fell, she was provoking me—telling me how she and Casey plotted to ruin my life and destroy my marriage with Owen."

Stephanie let out a tired sigh, rubbing her temples. "Whether you did it or not, Olivia, the Scott family won't let this go. The baby is in critical condition, and if anything happens to that child, you will be thrown in prison for a very long time."

Olivia swallowed hard. Her throat suddenly felt dry, and her fingers curled into fists. She didn't know the situation was this serious.
