Bryndar City

The city Bryndar is divided into two sections which can be seen after passing through the entrance, the external part named Meadowbloom, where the agricultural production is situated, and the internal part which is Bryndar where the city is located.

The two sections are divided by a gentle flowing river that circles Bryndar, with a stone bridge used to access the main city.

"The main city is quite far...", Angel observed.

"I suggest not to use magic here, Angel.", Jean advised, it's eye sockets slightly glowing purple.

"Surprised that you're awake now.", Angel grumbled.

"I had to conserve my energy, even simply speaking wears my energy thin.", Jean stated.

"Anyway, what do you mean I should be careful?", Angel asked.

"Due to the kingdom's past interaction with the necromancer, the kingdom is now monitoring it's cities for any related activity regarding dark or bewitching magic.", Jean explained.

"What does it have to do with me? If anything, you should be the one afraid.", Angel scoffed.

"You eat souls, similar to how necromancers take souls from the undead. A single whiff of a soul from you, it'll be your last time visiting the kingdom of Kredan.", Jean stated, his voice cold and hollow.

As Angel saw the faint purple light from the skull's eye sockets fade, he took in Jean's words of caution and placed the skull inside his subspace pouch. As he nears the entrance, he was immediately stopped by the guard.

"Please stop there, travelers must identify themselves along with their proof of identity and purpose.", the guard stated calmly.

"Ah...", Angel looked for a proof of his identity.

Angel racked his brain and remembered his identification card he received from the guild registration. He took his identification card and passed it to the guard along with his purpose as a wanderer. After the guard's careful assessment, Angel was finally allowed inside.

"Amazing, it's just like the province back at the orphanage.", Angel marveled at the scenery.

Soon after, an old local offered Angel a ride at his carriage as he also plans to enter the city. Angel accepted the old man's offer and hopped inside his carriage. The ride took atleast 45 minutes to reach inside the main city.

"Thanks for the ride sir, I appreciate it!", Angel voiced his gratitude.

The old man moved along his way after dropping Angel inside the main city of Bryndar. As the time has reached afternoon, Angel walked inside the city, in hopes of finding an inn. As he continued to walk the road, he observed the different races that inhabited the city which included orcs, ogres, elves, and dwarves.

The city was filled of markets with fresh harvested goods from left to right, with famous agricultural merchant companies restocking their stores, proving the reputation of the city as the heart of Kredan's agricultural production, providing food and resources to the surrounding regions of Kredan.

As Angel entered an nearby inn, it was filled with mercenaries and adventurers that seemed to have finished their missions. With laughter and gossips filling the dining area, he made his way to the empty table at the back.

"Hm?", Angel mused.

As he quietly sat, he listened to the people's gossips with his enhanced senses, waiting patiently for the waiter to pass him the menu.

After receiving the menu...

"I'll be having this, thank you.", Angel said to the waiter.

As Angel waited for his order to arrive, he continued to listen.

"Must be another one of those haughty nobles.", a man stated to his seatmate.

"He must have golds on him.", another man said.

"Probably on the run from his debts.", he snickered while talking to his friend.

"Let's follow him, a noble can get us a good position along with the money.", another man stated.

Angel continued, letting their whispers flow through his ears as he patiently waits for his food to arrive at his table.
