Reverse Jumping

"Friendly interaction?"

Urahara Kisuke's expression froze for a moment. He never expected that Saikyō would make such a request.

Under normal circumstances, outsiders weren't even willing to come to the Maggot's Nest, let alone seek interaction with the dangerous elements within.

Yet here was Saikyō, making the request himself.

It was no wonder Urahara Kisuke was surprised.

"Saikyō, are you trying to replace me as the captain of the Correctional Unit? I didn't expect you to be so ambitious at your age," Urahara Kisuke teased.

"If the opportunity arises, I wouldn't mind," Saikyō replied, his eyes glinting with mischief.

"Heh heh heh..."

"If you can truly subdue everyone here with just your bare hands, then I might report this to Captain Yoruichi," Urahara Kisuke said with a leisurely smile.

He clapped his hands loudly, the crisp sound echoing throughout the cave.

"Listen up, everyone! I have some good news!" Although Urahara Kisuke didn't use an amplifier, his voice, infused with his Reiatsu, reached every corner of the Maggot's Nest.

"Good news?"

The dangerous individuals stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to him, curious and skeptical. Some looked hopeful, others wary, and a few glared with a hint of hatred.

"Listen carefully..." Urahara Kisuke said, building suspense.

"What is it? Tell us already!" One impatient prisoner called out.

"Don't rush. Be patient," Urahara Kisuke responded before gesturing toward Saikyō. "Anyone who defeats this young man will have a chance to be acquitted."

"What?! Acquitted? Is that true?"

The entire Maggot's Nest was thrown into an uproar. Everyone looked at each other, stunned, as if they had been struck by lightning.

Once imprisoned here, the only way out was through old age or death. The idea of being released was nothing short of a miracle.

Now, suddenly, they were being offered a chance at freedom.

The atmosphere was electric, teetering on the edge of chaos.

"Mr. Urahara, don't you think this is a bit unfair?" Saikyō said, feeling the rising tension and malicious stares directed his way.

"You asked for this, didn't you? I'm just following through," Urahara Kisuke replied with a smirk, gesturing for Saikyō to proceed.

"That's right, you heard correctly. Defeat him, and you can walk out of here," Urahara Kisuke announced to the eager crowd. "So don't hold back. Whether or not you can change your fate is up to you."

The prisoners' eyes turned red with desperation.

"Kill him!"

"Defeat him and we can escape!"

Fueled by the hope of freedom, one of the larger prisoners roared and charged at Saikyō, setting off a wave of attackers.

The Maggot's Nest was suddenly in chaos!

"Saikyō, I hope you can handle this. Otherwise, explaining things to Captain Yoruichi will be difficult," Urahara Kisuke said, though his tone showed little real concern. Even if Saikyō were to be overwhelmed, Urahara didn't seem too worried.

"Mr. Urahara..."

Saikyō didn't even have time to respond before he was thrown into the middle of a fierce brawl.

---

Time passed swiftly, and before long, three hours had gone by.

"Huff... Huff... Huff..."

Saikyō stood in the center of the Maggot's Nest, sweat beading on his forehead. His chest heaved as he caught his breath. Around him, the bodies of the defeated prisoners were strewn across the ground. None of them could even muster the strength to stand.

The scene was truly something to behold.

After nearly three hours of relentless fighting, Saikyō had successfully subdued every single prisoner, completing the task within the given time.

Just then, a familiar sound echoed in his mind.

"Ding!"

"Congratulations, Host! You have completed the random task: Clear the Maggot's Nest!"

"Task Reward: All Attributes +100!"

...

Hearing the system notification, Saikyō grinned. He could feel a new wave of strength flowing through his body. His overall power had increased significantly.

He quickly checked his status panel to see the changes.

With each attribute now above 1000, Saikyō had reached the level of a seated officer. This also meant he had another opportunity to upgrade his skills.

"Shunpo, Zanjutsu, Hakuda... I wonder what changes will occur when they reach level ten?" Saikyō mused, his exhaustion already forgotten as excitement surged through him.

However, just as he was about to upgrade his skills, Urahara Kisuke interrupted.

"Saikyō, I must say, you've exceeded my expectations. I didn't think you'd actually manage to clear out the entire Maggot's Nest," Urahara Kisuke said, handing Saikyō a cup of hot tea.

"Thanks," Saikyō replied, taking a quick sip.

"But technically, there's one person you haven't faced," Urahara Kisuke added, glancing toward the far end of the cave.

"Mr. Urahara, isn't that a cell over there?" Saikyō asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Indeed. It's the only cell in the entire Maggot's Nest, and it houses a very special prisoner," Urahara Kisuke's tone turned more serious.

From his expression, it was clear that this prisoner was someone he regarded with a rare sense of respect.

"A special prisoner?" Saikyō repeated.

"Yes. In my opinion, everyone you've just defeated combined doesn't compare to him," Urahara Kisuke replied, giving the prisoner a very high evaluation.

"His name is... Kurotsuchi Mayuri!"
