Chapter 50: A Garden of Roses

Selene’s POV

Holding the lilies in my arms, I couldn’t help but break into a big grin. They were definitely from Lucian, each bloom a quiet, affectionate message. I stood there for a second, soaking in the fragrance that practically filled the entire bar. Just then, Lilian spotted me from across the room.

"Selene, with all these flowers, we might as well open up a flower shop," Lilian teased as she made her way over, a smirk tugging at her lips.

I laughed, shaking my head. "It’s like a jungle in here. I half expect to see a butterfly flutter by."

Leaning casually against the bar, Lilian’s eyes landed on the shiny new Healer badge pinned to my jacket. "So now that you’re officially a Healer, what’s next? Going for the big role of Luna too?" She raised an eyebrow. Her tone was playful, but I could tell she was curious.
