Nadia's POV
"That's as good as it's going to get," I said to myself as I flipped back the stubborn piece of hair that I had been trying to curl for the past five minutes straight.
"What are you talking about?" Jasper asked, walking into my bathroom. "You look great."
"You're my brother, you have to say that," I said.
"Wrong," he said, shaking his head. "As your brother, it's my job to make fun of you. Trust me, complimenting you goes against the grain."
I laughed.
"What if I call you beautiful? Does that count?" Daisy asked, walking in behind Jasper.
I laughed. "I think best friends count less than brothers. Though, with that being said, you look great, Daisy!"
"Oh shoosh," she said, but I saw her cheeks redden.
"Let's go," Jasper encouraged.
The three of us made our way downstairs. Mason and Ethan had already left for the party, so we took our own car. As we stepped out at Ember's house, I could hear the music and saw all of the people already milling about.
