Nadia POV
Back at Aiden's sprawling estate, the tension was palpable. The news of Mason’s flight possibly going missing due to severe turbulence had sent shockwaves through everyone who loved him. I watched from the living room window, my eyes barely registering the blooming flowers in the yard, as Aiden paced back and forth, his phone glued to his ear, speaking rapidly with his assistant.
Mom was distraught, constantly calling the airline, trying to sound firm, but you could hear the panic in her voice. Jasper tried to calm Aiden down, putting a hand on his shoulder, speaking steadily even though he looked worried. "They're doing everything they can, Aiden. We just have to wait for more news."
