“Some time ago, Jamila came to see me.” Calvin spoke with astonishment.
Aria’s face changed slightly, “What? She approached you?”
“Yes.”
“What does she want with you?” Aria clenched her palms.
Calvin pushed his glasses back, “She asked me to help her leave.”
“You agreed?” Aria’s volume drew up.
He shook his head, “No, but I think that she might not be here anymore.”
Aria was stunned, “How did you know?”
“After I rejected her, I told her that instead of looking for me, she should go to Tyron, they are allies, so he will definitely help her, so I think she should have gone to him later, and if she did, then she is definitely left.” Calvin said.
Aria’s body trembled and she was furious, “You didn’t even tell me about such a big thing, you clearly know the hatred between me and Jamila.”
“I’m sorry, Aria.” Calvin lowered his eyes, seemingly full of apologies, but in reality, on his face, there was no apology at all.
