“That’s pretty much what it means.” Jake nodded.
Aria sighed, “That’s good, at least Betty has a child that proves she loved Calvin and that the feelings she gave were reciprocated.”
“But I’m afraid she won’t be able to give a good account on Calvin’s side.” Jake looked at her.
Aria knew what he meant, “Are you saying that Calvin will let Betty abort the baby after he finds out that she is pregnant?”
“How could Calvin let her conceive a child if he doesn’t love Betty, so the likelihood that he would do so is very high.” Jake nodded his head.
Aria bit her lip, “Actually, Betty also knows this, but I think that since she has already made the decision to keep this child, then she must also know how to avoid him from finding out that she is pregnant.”
“Then don’t worry about it.” Jake returned his gaze to his phone.
Aria nodded and didn’t speak anymore.
No need to bother indeed, because there was no way to do so.
