Apparently the call had left her a little unsure how to deal with it.
“Who is it?” Aria asked, looking at her.
Betty’s lips twitched, “It’s Lucas.”
“Lucas?” Aria raised an eyebrow.
Betty nodded, “I’ll answer the phone first, I’ll talk to you later.”
“Okay.” Aria nodded her head.
Betty ran her finger over the green answer button, and then put the phone to her ear, “Hello, Lucas.”
Hearing the embarrassment and shortness in her tone, Aria couldn’t help but narrow her eyes.
Did something happen between Betty and Lucas?
These two were still getting along naturally with each other, and Betty was happy to have Lucas as a friend.
But now, Betty was a bit evasive towards Lucas, as if she didn’t know how to face the feeling.
Could it be because last time at the hotel, she told Betty that Lucas liked her, so Betty’s attitude towards him changed?
But even if Betty knew that Lucas liked herself, Betty’s attitude towards him wouldn’t become so awkward.
