Chapter 4: Our New... Jonins!

Writer's pov: *Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke enter the classroom where they were to meet Anna and their new Jonin leader.*

Naruto: This is where we're supposed to meet them?

Sakura: Yup, now sit down and be quiet!

*Few minutes later, Anna enters the classroom. Naruto and the others look at her. *Opens and closes the door*

Anna: Oh, hey guys.

Naruto: Hey, Anna.

Sakura: Hi, Anna. Great to meet you.

Anna: Same here. *Walks towards her and whispers* By the way, now that we're teammates, I'll help you concerning your relationship with Sasuke.

Sakura: *gasps, whispers happily* Really? You'd do that?

Anna: Sure *smiles slightly but genuinely and walks towards Sasuke*.

Sakura's pov: *Cha!! Finally, someone's here to help me and i'll be closer to Sasuke. Ino, you're done for. Haha!!*

Anna: Hey, Sasuke.

Sasuke: Oh, hi. *with his two hands entwined together covering his mouth*.

Writer's pov: *Anna walks towards the window side and leans on the table behind her. She closes her eyes and crosses her arms across her chest. She steals a glance at Sasuke and he quickly looks away blushing slightly.

*Three hours later*

Naruto: He's late!! *sticks his head out the door looking left and right*

Sakura: Naruto!! Just sit down already. He'll be here!!

Naruto: No! It's just not fair! The others have met their jonins and all gone out on exciting missions while we get to wait back here!!

Sakura: I know, ok? I feel the same way too.

Anna's pov: Our squad leader 's really late. Only one person has the guts to do that.* smirking*

Sasuke: Hey, why are you smiling all of a sudden?

Anna: Hmm? Oh, nothing. I was just remembering something.

Sakura: Hey Anna, do you know who our jonin leader is?

Anna: I might have a clue about it but i'm not so sure. I wasn't told the name of the jonin of which team i'll choose. All I was told was that i'll be on a squad to continue my training.

Sakura: Oh. Naruto!! Stop that!! *Anna and Sasuke look up to see Naruto standing on a stool putting an eraser between the door and its post.*

Sakura: Get down from there, what do you think you're doing?

Naruto: That's what he gets for coming late. Surprise!!

Sakura: That's stupid. Her pov. Cha, I love settling this!!

Sasuke: Our teacher's a jonin, an elite ninja with high knowledge. It's just fool's play what you're doing.

Sakura: Yeah, Sasuke's right, Naruto. You're being childish.

Anna: Leave him be, guys. He'll get what's coming to him and unfortunately, it'll go to you guys too.

Sakura: What? *asks dumbfounded *

*suddenly, the door bursts open allowing the reader to fall on his head*

Naruto: *laughing* I got him. He fell right for it. *continues laughing *

Sakura: I'm so sorry, sensei. I told him not to do it, but he didn't listen. I'd never do something like that. Her pov *perfect shot!!!*

Sasuke's pov: He actually fell that cheap trick? Is this guy really a jonin?

Kakashi: *picks up the eraser and thinks* Hm, how did I put this? My first impression of you three guys is you're a bunch of idiots. *All three deadpanned* Sakura 's pov: *Is this what Anna meant?*

Anna: *smirks* Took you a while to get her, big cousin. You haven't changed at all.

Sakura & Naruto: HUH?!! COUSIN??!!

Kakashi: Yup, now you guys, meet us on the rooftop.

*Anna and Kakashi disappear to the rooftop. Kakashi walks to the railings and offers Anna to stay by his left side. Anna walks to him and leans on the railings beside him.*

Kakashi: How did you know i was the jonin for team 7?

Anna: *smirks * Easy, you're late. You are the only squad leader who waste people's time and then make excuses.

Kakashi: Observation. The number one skill a jonin should have. Good work Anna, you've improved.

Anna: It's all thanks to you big cousin. *smiles at him, he smiles back *

Kakashi: Alright then, before they come, I would like you to know something.

Writer's pov: He explains everything about the survival exercise they are having the next day.

Anna: *nods her head affirmatively once* Understood.

*Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke walk towards them and take their seats.*

Kakashi: Alright everyone. Why don't you introduce yourselves?

Sakura: Huh, introduce ourselves? What are we supposed to say?

Kakashi: Things you like, things you hate, hobbies, dreams for the future, stuffs like that.

Naruto: Um, how about you start by telling us about yourself?

Kakashi: Me? I'm Kakashi Hatake. Things i like, i don't feel like telling you guys.

Sakura & Naruto: Huh?

Anna's pov: *Yeah, like your books.*

Kakashi: Things i hate, nothing to tell you guys, dreams for the future never really thought about it. As for my hobbies, I have lots of hobbies.

Sakura: Well, that was totally useless. All he really told us was his name.

Naruto: Uh-huh *nods his head in agreement *

Anna: Alright, I'm next. I'm Anna Hatake. Things i like are; music, training everyday, eating my favourite foods especially ramen, going on missions with my big cousin, musical instruments and some other stuffs. Things i hate are; seeing my friends and family in danger, anything bitter and disgusting. My hobbies are; singing, composing songs, playing different instruments which are like six in number, sewing, painting, cooking and more training. And my future dream is to be a strong and excellent shinobi. I wanna become the greatest kunoichi to ever emerge from the hidden leaf village.

Sakura: Wow, that's a big dream.

Naruto: Yeah, and singing? You love music?

Anna: Yeah, I can play any instruments and have written my own songs too. Ya see, I haven't only been training. Every ninja needs a break, ya know?

Naruto: Hey, you just said my catch phrase again today!

Anna: It's like a second nature to me, ya know?

Sakura's pov: *Great another Naruto but a wiser one too.*

Kakashi: Alright, you on the right, go!

Naruto: Believe it, I'm Naruto Uzumaki. I like instant ramen in a cup and I really like the ramen that Iruka sensei gave me at the Ichiraku ramen shop. But I hate about the 3 minutes that you'll wait after pouring hot water in the ramen to cook. My hobby is eating different kinds of ramen and comparing them. And my future dream is to be the greatest hokage. Then the whole village will stop disrespecting me and start treating me like somebody, somebody important.

Anna: Awesome dream, Naruto.

Naruto: Thanks, ya know?!

Kakashi's pov: *He's really grown up in an interesting way.* Alright, next!

Sakura: I'm Sakura Haruno. What I like... uh I mean the person I like... *looks at Sasuke *

Anna: *facepalmed* Seriously?

Sakura: My hobby is..... my dream for the future is..... *squeals*

Anna: Ah, jeez *sighs*

Kakashi: And what do you hate?

Sakura: Naruto!!!!!

Naruto: Ahhhh!!!

Anna: *giggles* Sorry, Naruto.

Kakashi: Girls seem more interested in boys than in ninja training. *Anna nudges his elbow* Hm, oh every girl except for you Anna.

Anna: mm-hmm!! *smiles proudly*

Kakashi: Oh, alright. Last one.

Sasuke: My name..... is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate a lot of things and I particularly don't like anything.

Sakura: Huh?

Sasuke: What I have is not a dream because I will make it a reality. I'm going to restore my clan and destroy a certain someone. *everyone looks at him.*

Naruto's pov: *Gee, uh.... I hope he doesn't mean mean me.*

Sakura's pov: *Sasuke's sooo hot!!*

Anna's pov: *Whoa, Sasuke. Calm down dude you don't have to be so scary, sheesh!!!*

Kakashi's pov: *Just as I thought *

Kakashi: Good, we've introduced ourselves. You're all unique and you have your own ideas. We'll have our first mission tomorrow.

Naruto: Whoo!! What kind kind of mission are we going to have?

Anna: It's a task that the five of us will do together.

Naruto: What would that be?

Kakashi: A survival exercise.

Naruto: Huh, survival exercise?

Sakura: I thought we were having a real mission not more practice. We did this all in the academy, that's why we're here.

Kakashi: This isn't like your previous training.

Naruto: Well, what would that be?

Kakashi: *suddenly chuckles *

Sakura: Hey, that was a normal question, what's so funny?

Kakashi: Well, if I tell you guys, you're not going to like it.

Naruto: Well, just tell us anyway!

Kakashi: Of the 27 graduates, only 9 will be accepted as genin. The other 18 will be sent back and weeded out of the academy.

*Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke all look surprised at the sudden news *

Anna: See? He told you guys you wouldn't like it.

Naruto: That's crazy!! We worked hard to get here. I mean, what was that graduation test all for anyway?!!

Kakashi: Oh, that? That was just to select candidates who might become genins.

Anna: So we could see how many of you were ready to risk it all in order to become a ninja.

Kakashi: Also, this is a pass it or fail it test so the chance that you'll fail is at least 66 per cent.

Naruto: What?!!!

Kakashi: That's how it is. I decide whether you pass or fail so get ready.

*Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke all had their game faces on.*

Kakashi: Meet us at the designated training ground at 5:00am tomorrow.

Anna's pov: *Well, they all look determined, I just hope they don't freak out when he says no breakfast tomorrow *

Kakashi: That's it, you're dismissed oh and one word of advice, I suggest you skip breakfast or else you'll puke.

*They all looked shocked*

Anna's pov: *I knew it, they'd freak out. *

*Kakashi disappears leaving Anna with squad 7.*

Anna: Well, I'm off. See you guys later. *climbs on the railings and about to jump* Oh and for the record, concerning tomorrow's exercise, I suggest you guys talk it through about how to pass it, okay? *She smiles at them and jumps off towards the village.*
