Chapter 5: You Failed! Kakashis Final Decision!

Kakashi: Uh!!!
Sakura: Gasps. Naruto: Ahh!! He just got blasted by shuriken. Are you out of your mind Sasuke?!! You went too far!!!
*Kakashi hits a tree and falls back*
*Then it appeared to be a substitute.*
Sasuke's pov: *gasps* Damn it! Another substitution justu and now they know where I'm hiding. Gotta to move fast!*
Sakura's pov: *Sasuke! Where'd you go? Don't tell me kakashi sensei found you. No! He can't capture my Sasuke, I won't let him!! Gasps. She sights Kakashi and Anna. Phew! They didn't hear me, I'm safe.*
Kakashi: Psst!! Sakura.
Anna: Behind you.*silently* Hi.
Sakura: *screaming*
Naruto: *mimicking kakashi* A ninja must see through deception. Yeah, yeah how am I supposed to do that? *cuts the rope and jumps down* Well, I'm sure not falling for anymore of his tricks again.*gets down and giggles only to get caught again* ARGGH!! I fell for it again!!!
*Kakashi and Anna put Sakura under a genjutsu*
Sakura: Oh my. * looks around frantically* Someone there? Ah, ah I think I felt something what was it? What's going on?!
Sasuke: Sa..ku..ra.
Sakura: *turns around* Sasuke!!!
Sasuke: S..Sakura, help me. Please help me!!
Sakura: *looks frightened and cries out screaming*
Anna: *chuckles nervously* I think we overdid it a bit.
Kakashi: But, she's gotta learn to see through these things. * they both go out to lean on a tree and Anna on the other side folding her hands across her chest *
Sasuke: Huh? That sounded like.... Sakura?
Kakashi: Shinobi battle technique number 2, the illusion justu.
Anna: She studied it in class but still couldn't see it coming. She is totally over the moon for this guy.
Sasuke: Genjustu. Just simple mind control. I'm not surprised they caught Sakura with it but I'm not like Sakura or Naruto.
Kakashi: Say that after you get one of these bells, my Sasuke. *chuckles*
Anna: It's really not nice saying that about a girl who's madly in love with you, ya know?
*he turns to face them and they pose battle stances. He then throws shurikens at them but they dodge separately.*
Kakashi: There's no point using normal attacks!
Anna: Yeah, just give it up Sasuke, you can't touch us with those!!
*he throws a kunai knife on rope cutting it and releasing more kunais on them*
Kakashi & Anna's pov: A trap! *they both dodge them. Kakashi moves away when Sasuke appears at his back.* Kakashi: What?! *he blocks his kick and catches his punch leaving Sasuke with one arm which he tries to use to take a bell. Kakashi's pov: *this kid.... Kakashi dodges his catch and both of them dispersed from each other*
Sasuke: *panting* That bell is mine!!!
*he was about to charge at kakashi when Anna blocks his kick* What?!!
Anna: *smirks* Think again Sasuke!
* They both exchange hand to hand punches. Anna kicks him away but he catches her leg thinking he gained the upper hand but she puts her hands on the ground, twirled and kicks him with her leg releasing the other leg, then she summersualt backwards to kakashi's left side.
Anna's pov: *whoa, he's good, he's as fast as I am. Well, he is the last survivor of the Uchiha clan. I shouldn't underestimate him.*
Kakashi: Good reflexes, Anna.
Anna: Yeah, thanks.
Kakashi's pov: *He's fierce, hm. Won't be able to read make out paradise now.* Well, you are different from the others, I'll grant you that.
Sasuke: Grr!! * does hand signs: Horse! Tiger! * Fire style: Fireball jutsu!*
Kakashi: What?! *Genins can't do fireball justu, takes too much chakra. There's no way...! *Sasuke blows fire at them*
Anna: *does hand signs* Wind style: Solid air rotation justu!! *Solid air hovers around them and kakashi escapes. Sasuke ends his jutsu and looks at them.*
Anna: *Releases her justu and smirks*
Sasuke: Huh?! Where is he?! Behind me, above?!
Anna: I don't know *raises her two hands, shrugging her shoulders*
Kakashi: *Grabs his leg from under* Where? Sasuke: Huh?! I'm where you least expect me! *pulls him underground and Sasuke screams*
Kakashi: Right under your feet, Earth style head-under justu. Sasuke: *grunts* Can't move huh? That was Ninjustu the third shinobi battle skill. You have talent and you were right, you are different from the others but different isn't always better. *he says while standing up then he walks to leave.* They say that the nail that sticks up is the one that gets hammered down.
Sasuke: Oh, great!
Kakashi: Well Anna, I'm going to head on now.
Anna: Ok *Kakashi leaves while she walks to Sasuke stuck underground and puts her hand on her left waist* Well, this isn't too surprising. *giggles while Sasuke blushes in embarrassment*
Sasuke's pov: *They're stronger than I am, I can't get around that.* They hear rustling of bushes behind them and turns to look at sakura running out of it.*
Sakura: Huh?! Ah hmm, huh?! *looks at Anna then Sasuke.*
Sasuke: Sakura?
Sakura: AH! SASUKE'S JUST A HEAD WITHOUT A BODY AND HE'S TALKING!!!! *faints*
Sasuke: And that's my partner.
Anna: Hun-huh, *she goes to check sakura's pulse* She's alright. *tries to walk away when...*
Sasuke: Um, Anna?
Anna: *Turns to look at him raising an eyebrow* Yeah?
Sasuke: Uh, can you help me get out of this? *he says blushing embarrassed*
Anna: Sure. * raises her fists and punches the ground removing Sasuke from the debris.* Also, you don't have to be shy sasuke, just ask. I could see your face turning red. Plus, you don't have to like me, I'm not the one for you, ya know? I can tell from these things. *smiles* I'll leave you two now. *jumps in the air and walks to the training ground where kakashi is tying Naruto to a post*
Naruto: Awww!
Anna: *puts her hand in her chin* hmm, let me guess, you tried to steal lunch to eat all by yourself, huh?
Naruto: *chuckles nervously*
Anna: *sighs and walks towards kakashi's left side*
Kakashi: So did he see what we did back there?
Anna: *crossing her hands across her chest* I don't think so.
Kakashi: Hm.
*Sasuke & Sakura walks to them and sits by the posts. Then all their stomachs start growling.*
Kakashi: Uh-oh, stomachs growling that's too bad. Oh by the way, about this exercise, well I've decided i won't send any of you back to the academy.
Naruto: *smiles happily*
Sakura: What, I passed? All I did was faint and fall over. Do you get points for that? Her pov: Lovelyn's out, cha cha cha!!!
Sasuke: *scoffs happily *
Naruto: So.. so that's means, that's means all three of us * while Sakura rejoice happily*
Kakashi: Yes all three of you are being dropped from the program, PERMANENTLY!!!
*They all looked terrified*
Naruto: Drop us from the program?!! That means we can never become ninjas, you said if we couldn't take a bell, we'd be sent back to the academy. YOU CAN'T JUST CHANGE YOUR MIND AND KICK US OUT, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!!!!
Anna: Because you guys don't think like ninjas.
Kakashi: You still think like little kids, like brats!
*That annoyed Sasuke and he charged for them. He tries to punch Anna but she grabbed his hand and cuts his legs falling him down and kakashi sits on him and puts his foot on Sasuke's head.*
Naruto: Ah!
Sakura: Sasuke!!
Kakashi: You think it's all about you.
Sakura: Let go of Sasuke, you can't step on him like he's a bug!!!!!
Sasuke: *grunts in pain*
Anna: You guys don't know what it means to be a ninja.
Kakashi: You think it's a game huh?! Why did you think we'd put you on squads, did you consider that question for one moment?
Sakura: I... I don't know what you mean.
Kakashi: I mean you never realized what this exercise is all about, not even close.
Naruto: What's it about?
Kakashi: Yes, that's what determines whether you pass or fail.
Sakura: But that's... I mean I wanted to ask you guys about that from the beginning.
Anna: Tch! Use your head! Three people on a squad, why do you think we would do that?
Naruto: ARGGH!! How are we supposed to know why you'd pick three people?! We didn't make the rules!!!
Kakashi: It's so basic.... Kakashi & Anna: TEAMWORK!!!!
Sakura: Just working together, is that what you guys mean?
Kakashi: That's what we mean, it's too late now but if all three of you had come at me, even with Anna as an obstacle, you might have been able to take them. Well anyway, it's over.
Sakura: *Wait a minute.* You guys set it up with three people but only two bells. If we'd work together, and gotten the bells, only two of us could keep them, that would lead to group conflict and the squad would break up.
Kakashi: Exactly, I purposely pitied you against each other.
Sakura: Hmm. Naruto: Huh?!
Kakashi: I wanted to see if you could overcome that and put the squad ahead of yourselves. Sasuke, didn't you notice anything that happened when you were fighting against Anna and I?
Sasuke: *silently* Teamwork...
Kakashi: What was that?
Sasuke: Teamwork!!!
Kakashi: Exactly! When you charge for us with your fireball, Anna immediately used wind style to cover us up giving me a chance to escape from you taking the bells. That was one of the skills Anna had in her enough for her to earn the rank of part time jonin. A genin should have a natural feel for teamwork, but you... it never even crossed your minds. Sakura! *looks at him* You were obsessed about Sasuke who was gone while Naruto was right in front of you and you couldn't even lift a finger to help him.
Anna: A good ninja is supposed to have the heart of impartiality. Their teammates should always be equal in their eyes ahead of their emotions. *Sakura looks down in shame.*
Kakashi: Naruto! You do everything on your own, Everything!!!
Anna: Ninjas include the Hokages had the feeling of teamwork and they also relied on their comrades. That was exactly what I was saying when I first met you guys at the academy.
Kakashi: And you.... Sasuke thought the others were so far beneath you. Arrogance! Ninja missions are carried out in squads, of course you need individual skills but teamwork is the most essential element. Every shinobi understands this. When individuals puts themselves above the squad, it can lead to failure and death.* pulls out a kunai knife* For instance, Sakura! Kill Naruto now or Sasuke dies!!
*Sakura gasps while Naruto looks back and forth at them terrified*
Kakashi: That's what happens on a mission. * removes his knife from Sasuke's neck*
Sakura: Boy that was really scary.
Naruto: *breathes heavily* PHEW!!
Kakashi: The enemy takes a hostage and you've got an impossible choice and someone ends up dead. *stands up from Sasuke* On every mission, your life is on the line.
Anna: *Offers him a hand* Here. *Sasuke takes it and she pulls him up helping him to dust his clothes. He silently thanks her and walks to them.*
Kakashi: *Walks to a large stone* Did you look at the stone the names engraved on it? They are ninjas who are honoured as heroes in our village.
Naruto: That's it! That's it!! That's it!!! Now I know! I've decided I gonna have my name engraved on that stone. I'm not going to live and die for nothing like a dog, I'm going to become a hero, a hero!!!!
Kakashi: They are a special kind if heroes.
Naruto: Huh, what kind of heroes are they?! Come on tell us!! Well, well?!
Kakashi: They're all KIA.
Naruto: Ooh, that sounds real cool.
Sakura: It means Killed In Action, they all died.
Naruto: Huh?!
Anna: You really shouldn't wish for something like that, Naruto. *Walks to kakashi's right side waist and puts a hand on his back*
Kakashi: This is a memorial stone, the names of my closest friends are engraved here.
*Sakura & Sasuke feel sorry for kakashi while Naruto looks afraid of what he just said.*
Kakashi: Alright, I'm going to give you one more chance, but I'm going to make it much harder on you. You'll have three hours to take a bell. Eat lunch now to build up strength, but Naruto doesn't get any!
Naruto: Grr!!
Anna: But, kakashi sensei..... *he raises his right hand to stop her from talking any further.*
Kakashi: It's his punishment for breaking the rules and trying to eat all by himself. And if anyone tries to feed him, that person will immediately fail.
Naruto: ARGGH!!!
Kakashi: I make the rules, you follow them, got it? Let's go, Anna.
Anna: Right. * Kakashi walks ahead with her behind and she turns to look at them, Naruto looks at her with pleading eyes. She smiles softly at them and leaves. Then she runs to Kakashi's right side and they both disappears.*
*They both appear at the back of the squad far from them. He leans on a tree and Anna sits on a tree branch.*
Anna: Let me guess, your plan is to test them whether they would give some lunch to him so you'd pass them, just like other teams?
Kakashi: *nods* They've already started, let's go.
*They appear in front of them in smoke*
Kakashi: YOUUU!!! *The squad looked terrified and scared*
Anna: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!! You broke the rules!!
Kakashi: I hope you're ready for your punishments. *They both do hand signs and the clouds form lightning and thunder.* Any last words?!
*Sakura shudders in fear* Naruto: Ahh, *stammering* B.. but y.... you s... said....
Kakashi: Yes?.
Naruto: You said that there were three of us, that's what you said and then Sakura....
Sasuke: We're all in this squad and we're in it together!!
Sakura: Yeah, that's right. We gave our lunch to him 'cause the three of us are one!!
Naruto: Huh?! Yeah! Yeah!! Believe it, that's right!!!
Kakashi: The three of you are one, that's your excuse?!! Hm, you pass.
Sakura and Naruto: Huh?!
Kakashi: You pass.
Sakura: What'd you mean, how'd we pass?
Anna: You're the first squad that ever succeeded.
Kakashi: The others did exactly what I said and fell into every trap. They couldn't think for themselves. A ninja must see through deception. In the ninja world, those who break the rules are scums, that's true but those who'd abandoned their friends are far worse than scum. *Anna crosses her arms across her chest and closes her eyes feeling proud of what Kakashi is saying*
Sakura: *sighs of relief*
Sasuke: *smiles softly*
Anna: *chuckles* Got you guys pretty good there, hunh? Man, that was great acting there if I do say so myself.
Naruto: *crying softly* He's uh... you know.... he's kinda cool!
Anna: Of course, he's cool. * Smiles proudly.*
Kakashi: The exercise is over everyone passes! Squad 7 starts its first mission tomorrow!! *giving them a thumbs up.*
Sakura: Yes!!
Sasuke: *smiles and looks up to Anna offering him a hand with a smiling beam on her face, she was already holding Sakura with her right hand. He smirks and takes her hand.*
Anna: I'm really proud of you guys.
Sakura: *smiles at her and giggles*
Sasuke: *Smiles at her.*
Kakashi: Let's go home.
*Anna walks to him holding Sakura and Sasuke with her hands.*
Sakura's pov: Cha, I did it!!!
Naruto: *struggling to get free* I knew they'd do this, it happens every time!! YOU GUYS FORGOT TO UNTIE ME!!!
Anna: Oh, sorry about that, Naruto!! * throws a kunai knife at him cutting the ropes. He runs to them.*
Naruto: Alright!! Thanks, Anna!! Hey, race you back to the village?
Anna: You're on!!
Naruto: On your mark, set.... He & Anna: Go!!!!
*They run happily back to the village.*
