Chapter 138 Single Rider Pierces Enemy Camp

The same person behaves completely differently in New Star and the Secret Realm.

The young man from the Qin family, lying in a pool of blood, had been polite and courteous in New Star, whether attending banquets or gathering with friends, always warm and humble. Here, however, it felt as if a demon had awakened within him.

The Moonlight Bodhisattva, upon entering the Secret Realm, shed his former silence and apathy, coldly shattering the young man from the Qin family.

Without the constraints of rules and moral shackles, everyone transformed.

"Who's there?" It must be said, the Moonlight Bodhisattva's extraordinary physique was remarkable; even as the white horse landed lightly, he sensed it.

With a leap, he cleared several meters, retreating to a distance to observe Wang Xuan.

His body glowed with a pure white light, giving an otherworldly feel, but the blood splattered on his face marred that aura, and his clothes were stained with dark crimson.

"Where are the others?" Wang Xuan's voice was icy, having just heard that those people seemed to have been slaughtered.

"They're in other areas, and there are Bodhisattvas around. I can point the way for you. I haven't killed many; they're all here," the middle-aged man said, backing away cautiously.

He was quite careful, seeing that Wang Xuan was only in his twenties and judging him not even to be a grand master, yet he showed no intent to attack.

Before Wang Xuan could respond, the man quickly continued, "The terrain of this forest is complex. Without my guidance, you might not find them after searching for one or two hours. I'm not your enemy; look, I personally killed people from the Qin family."

"Then take me to find them." Wang Xuan realized where the issue lay—he appeared too calm atop the white horse, and this man might recognize its origins.

"You want to kill me, don't you?" the Moonlight Bodhisattva retreated, sighing. "In truth, you don't need to take action; I may not survive anyway. Without the genetic stabilizer from the Qin family, my body is likely to collapse. All I seek is to live as a wild man in the Secret Realm, struggling to survive and attempting to approach the extraordinary. If I can't endure, I'll die silently."

"I can spare you. Hurry and lead the way!" Wang Xuan feared time was running out.

"I don't trust you; it's best to grasp one's fate in their own hands." He shook his head, moving toward a pile of rocks.

Wang Xuan couldn't afford to wait any longer and jumped after him.

"Stop!" The man raised his hand, pausing on the slope behind the rocks. "Look, below the slope is a great river filled with various monsters. I'd rather jump down than trust anyone else."

Wang Xuan hesitated, frowning; he faced a very resolute Moonlight Bodhisattva, now willing to risk jumping into the river.

Below the slope, the river was wide, dark shadows swimming through it. Silver scales shimmered in the water under the moonlight, both mysterious and terrifying.

The middle-aged man said, "Seeing you, I'm reminded of my younger self. When I first came to the Secret Realm, I nearly lost my life trying to save someone. But in this realm, if your heart isn't hardened enough, you'll die quickly."

Wang Xuan looked at him. "You came to the Secret Realm years ago. Aren't exploration teams often wiped out?"

The middle-aged man nodded. "They are often wiped out, but sometimes it's other teams. What's announced to the outside isn't always the truth. Those people are darker and more terrifying than you imagine. I'm afraid, so I want to escape. Here's a secret: the Qin family has a stronghold in this area!"

Wang Xuan's expression changed; this new world seemed far more complex than he realized.

"The people you want to save are alive, having fled into a complicated area filled with lakes, swamps, and stone forests, near the nests of extraordinary monsters. They're trying to find a way to survive amidst the chaos." The Moonlight Bodhisattva pointed in a direction. "If I don't point it out, you'll likely miss them by going back the way you came."

He looked at Wang Xuan. "Now we part ways; if we meet again, we might need to face the Qin family together."

"Give me half of the black gold jujubes in your possession." Wang Xuan stepped forward.

The middle-aged man shook his head. "I can't give it to you; the black gold jujubes won't do much for you, but they can save my life. Why does the Qin family want to pick them? Because they are a crucial ingredient for a significant genetic drug."

Suddenly, he acted, lifting a rock weighing thousands of pounds and smashing it toward Wang Xuan.

Wang Xuan's expression remained cold as he kicked it to pieces.

Seeing this, the middle-aged man sighed lightly. "You've truly reached the grand master level, yet you're so young. Which laboratory produced a breakthrough to create someone like you?"

He was wary of being intimidated and couldn't help but attack. Now it was confirmed—this was someone who could confront him.

Then, decisively, he turned and leaped toward the river below the slope, disappearing with a splash.

Wang Xuan frowned; this man was ruthless, showing no hesitation in seeking life amidst death!

He wasted no time, riding the white horse swiftly. This special spirit horse could gallop steadily through the rugged forest, as fast as the wind, sending a flurry of leaves flying along the way.

Along the path, he saw some corpses, familiar faces from the past—people he had arrived with in the Secret Realm, who had once fought together against the earth dragon.

Now their bodies were broken, their deaths tragic. Some were severed at the waist; others had been blown apart, blood covering their faces, eyes filled with despair and terror, unable to close!

They were indeed unwilling, their final moments filled with sorrow and powerlessness. They had not been killed by monsters but hunted down ruthlessly by fellow human explorers, dying with unanswered questions.

Among them, a young couple lay entwined in death, pierced through the chest by a blade, blood-soaked and embracing each other.

Their expressions before death showed sadness but also a sense of relief.

Next, he saw an elderly explorer, his head severed, gray at the temples, and aged. His body lay separated, eyes wide open but dull.

At that moment, a flame surged within Wang Xuan; a wave of killing intent spread. He felt his body tremble slightly, hot blood surging within him!

He could no longer endure; what he saw along the way was too tragic, utterly appalling!

"Scum! Not a shred of humanity left!"

He was filled with rage, never imagining that some people could be so evil, so cruel, even more terrifying than fierce beasts and monsters. There was no hatred, but their mercilessness towards their own kind was far more horrifying and cold-blooded than the ferocious creatures in the Secret Realm!

A faint rumbling echoed from Wang Xuan's chest as he resolved to spare no one—he wouldn't let a single criminal escape, whether it was the Moonlight Bodhisattva or the influential members of the Qin family. He would kill them all.

The white horse seemed to sense his dangerous aura, becoming surprisingly docile, galloping swiftly into the complex terrain ahead.

In front, he spotted figures—clearly the culprits, bloodied and wielding knives, mercilessly stabbing the already fallen bodies in pools of blood.

At that moment, Wang Xuan's body trembled violently. This group was nothing short of devils!

The people they had slain were already dead, yet they were still not satisfied, ruthlessly severing heads from their lifeless bodies.

"Stop!"

A shout rang out as someone spotted the lone rider blocking their path, holding a metal knife.

The white horse surged forward, showing no intention of stopping, while Wang Xuan drew his long knife, a flash of lightning under the moonlight.

"Kill!"

Before Wang Xuan could shout, the others charged in unison, eager to strike him.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The gleaming knife lights erupted in the forest, yet Wang Xuan's speed far exceeded theirs. With four swift strikes, he sent four bloody heads flying.

Those wielding long knives froze in place, then blood gushed from their necks as they collapsed.

The white horse reared up, kicking and breaking the long knives of two attackers, crushing their chests. In an instant, the power of a grand master was evident.

Rider and horse surged through, double the grand master strength—how could these lower-tiered cultivators withstand such force?

"Who goes there?" In the distance, someone heard the commotion and turned to look, though far away, he spotted a young man riding a white horse.

"What a rarity! Someone can actually ride a horse in the Secret Realm! What level of horse is that? Stop them, but don't harm the horse!"

The speaker was a boy of about sixteen or seventeen, unaware of the carnage that had just unfolded. Thus, he maintained his confidence.

Nearby, there were corpses, yet he showed no concern.

Wang Xuan's gaze grew cold. The Qin family really had a base nearby; even a teenager had come here to establish a foothold!

Around the boy were seven or eight others, one of whom was a quasi-grand master. The rest were no slouches, surrounding the boy at his command.

"Be careful! Though it has no wings, it resembles a flying horse. Let them pass; do not obstruct!" someone shouted from behind the group.

Wang Xuan glanced over to see a wide clearing filled with around thirty people. Among them were two Moonlight Bodhisattvas, who, upon locking onto Wang Xuan, radiated a white light.

The boy obediently turned to flee, but no matter how fast he was, he couldn't outrun a grand master horse!

Boom!

The white horse, following Wang Xuan's signal, charged forward, tearing through the ground and kicking three people away.

Three massive blood holes appeared in their bodies; it was clear they wouldn't survive.

Thud!

Upon catching up, Wang Xuan swung his knife down, sending the boy's head flying four to five meters away, his body collapsing to the ground.

Wang Xuan showed no mercy, determined to eradicate this base—no matter the age, he would kill without hesitation!

He believed that none among the Qin family's stronghold were innocent; their hands were stained with blood. Even the boy, standing among the corpses, smiled—one could only imagine his true nature.

"How dare you!" A middle-aged man's anguished shout echoed, filled with pain.

Wang Xuan didn't even blink; was this what heartache felt like? He was indifferent to the suffering of others, but when it came to himself, he couldn't bear it?

Coldly, he looked ahead and turned back the way he came.

The middle-aged man thought he was trying to escape and ordered loudly, "Stop him! He must not get away today; I will personally deliver him to the lab for dissection!"

Wang Xuan wore a cold smirk. How could he possibly escape? He turned back to eliminate the remaining few who had stood with the boy, leaving none alive.

Tonight, he would unleash a massacre, wiping out every executioner!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

From behind, a group sprang into action, silently drawing their metal knives. They looked like experienced veterans, spreading out to take alternative paths to block Wang Xuan.

One of the Moonlight Bodhisattvas also pursued, leaping over ten meters in a single bound.

"Ah…"

Thud! Thud!

After turning back, Wang Xuan swung his long knife, and these people could not withstand him. Even the quasi-grand master was cleaved in half, meeting a gruesome end.

"He's so young yet possesses such strength; there must be something wrong with him. Capture him and see which lab produced this breakthrough, releasing such a monster!" someone shouted.

"Kill!" Wang Xuan roared, showing no intent to escape. After finishing off those few, he turned to attack again.

This time, he focused on a master-level genetic super body, leaping off the white horse. The knife light blazed brilliantly, like a bolt of lightning descending from the sky, illuminating the entire forest.

Thud!

No matter how this master-level super body tried to evade, it couldn't escape the terrifying blade; it was cut down at the shoulder, dying on the spot.

At that moment, everyone was dumbfounded—killing a master with a single strike? What kind of monster was this?

"Kill!"

Without needing to be commanded, another Moonlight Bodhisattva charged in, enveloped in a bright white flame, appearing extraordinarily mystical in the night.

The two Moonlight Bodhisattvas, like orbs of light, surged from different angles to strike Wang Xuan!

"Come on! None of you will escape tonight! I will wipe you all out!" Wang Xuan stood firm with his knife, unafraid of the two grand masters!
