NULLS Sword technique explained

Nulls Sword style

Sword Style: Flowing Shadow

Purpose: A fluid, adaptable sword style designed for prolonged combat, allowing the user to conserve energy while continuously overwhelming opponents. It complements the Null Sword Technique by providing a base for regular attacks and counters, keeping the user in constant motion while conserving stamina.

Key Features:

Ebb and Flow:

The user moves in a seamless, fluid rhythm, alternating between offense and defense with minimal wasted movement. Each attack transitions smoothly into the next, allowing for relentless pressure while conserving energy for prolonged engagements.

Sweeping Arc:

This technique uses wide, sweeping sword strikes that target multiple enemies or create distance from a single opponent. It's useful for crowd control and keeping enemies at bay while setting up for the more precise strikes of the Null Sword techniques.

Blade Pulse:

A quick, sharp movement that jolts the sword forward in a rapid burst, allowing the user to strike unexpectedly in the middle of flowing movements. It keeps opponents off balance by interspersing short, fast strikes between the larger, more obvious swings.

Endless Advance:

The hallmark of this style is the ability to keep moving forward, never giving the opponent time to regroup. This continuous pressure forces enemies into a defensive position, wearing them down over time.

Guard Breaker:

After several flowing strikes, the user can focus energy into one powerful, sudden blow designed to break through an opponent's defenses. This keeps the pressure high and ensures that no defensive stance can hold for long.

Vortex Counter:

When on defense, the user spins their sword in a circular motion, deflecting attacks and using the momentum to launch into the next offensive strike. This allows the user to remain on the offensive even while defending against multiple opponents.

Style Progression:

Early Cultivation Stages (Aura Awakening, Iron Core): Focus on mastering the Ebb and Flow and Sweeping Arc, building up endurance and continuous combat capability.

Mid Cultivation Stages (Obsidian Vein): Develop the Blade Pulse and Guard Breaker techniques, allowing for more varied attack patterns.

Advanced Cultivation Stages (Golden Soul and beyond): Refine the Vortex Counter and Endless Advance, maintaining pressure and unpredictability against even the strongest foes.

These are special technique of the Null sword style that require the use of Aura to use think of them as special attacks :

Void Strike:

At the early stages, the user learns to disrupt the flow of energy in a specific area of their enemy's body. When an enemy's aura is destabilized, their defenses momentarily falter, leaving them open to a precise, deadly strike.

Shadowless Blade:

At the mid-levels, this technique allows the user's sword to move so swiftly it becomes nearly invisible to the naked eye. The opponent cannot sense or see the attack coming, resulting in an overwhelming advantage

Aura Dissolution:

At higher levels, the user can temporarily "nullify" a portion of an opponent's aura, weakening their attacks and defenses. This can cause energy-based techniques to fail or shatter upon impact with the user's sword.

Empty Flow:

At its peak, the user can seamlessly blend into their surroundings, using their sword to distort the flow of energy around them. The technique makes them appear as if they are striking from multiple directions, disorienting their enemy while attacking from a completely unexpected angle.

Progression:

Aura Awakening Stage: The user begins learning the basics of the Void Strike, allowing for minor disruptions in an enemy's aura.

Iron Core Stage: Mastery of the Shadowless Blade makes their attacks faster and harder to defend against.

Obsidian Vein Stage: At this stage, Aura Dissolution becomes a critical tool, giving the user the ability to weaken even the strongest opponents.

Golden Soul Stage: The Empty Flow technique is refined, making the user's attacks nearly impossible to predict.
