**

The endless blue sky stretched out as fluffy clouds hung lazily overhead, barely shifting under the occasional caress of a gentle breeze. Sunlight cascaded through the clouds, warmly illuminating the towering mountain ranges below.

Suddenly, the tranquil horizon was interrupted by gusts of fierce wind, and soon, faint black specks emerged at the edge of the sky.

Moments later, the black specks drew closer, transforming into over a dozen flying magical beasts radiating ferocity. Their deep roars echoed as they cut through the skies. Atop the massive head of the leading magical beast sat a young man with silver eyes, his legs crossed in meditation.

A faint silver Dou Qi shimmered around his body, effortlessly deflecting the incoming gusts, allowing him to focus entirely on his cultivation.

After an extended period of cultivation, the young man's eyelids fluttered slightly before he slowly opened his eyes. Glancing at the diminutive landscape far below, he turned his head to address the group behind him. "Where are we now?"

Hearing Mo Yu's inquiry, Xiao Li, who had been chatting with Xiao Yan, quickly turned around. Retrieving a map from his storage ring, he smiled and said, "We've arrived in a small country called Wan Yan. We're now far from the Black-Corner Region. At our current pace, we should reach the Jia Ma Empire's border in about a month."

"One more month, huh…" Mo Yu murmured softly. His gaze shifted toward Lin Yan and the others.

After traveling for an entire month, with only brief rests in between, most of their time had been spent on the back of the Tiger Eagle Beast. Such a monotonous journey was a test of patience for anyone.

Fortunately, most of the group were strong cultivators who could use their time for cultivation to stave off boredom.

"If this goes on for a few more months, I'm afraid I'll go crazy," Lin Yan and Qian Mo said with a wry smile when they noticed Mo Yu's gaze.

Mo Yu chuckled lightly, scanning the surroundings before asking, "Where's Zi Yan? Did she run off again?"

"Yeah, Zi Yan couldn't sit still and ran ahead. Luckily, Cai Lin is with her," Qing Lin replied with a soft laugh.

"Let her be. With Cai Lin around, Zi Yan won't get into trouble," Mo Yu said with a faint smile. His eyes swept over the dozen Tiger Eagle Beasts trailing behind them. "Nothing unusual so far, right?"

"None. Although we passed through several countries that noticed our presence, the sight of our group was enough to make their strong cultivators retreat," Xiao Li replied.

"Good." Mo Yu nodded, then turned toward Xiao Yan. "What were you two talking about just now? You seemed quite happy."

"Hehe, it's about the Life Devouring Pill. Third Brother says he has a solution," Xiao Li said with a smile.

Hearing this, Ling Feng's eyes lit up. He, too, had taken the Life Devouring Pill, and with over half of the three-year deadline passed, failure to resolve its side effects would mean he had little time left to live.

"Oh? What solution?" Mo Yu feigned ignorance, though he had already guessed the answer.

"The Life Devouring Pill is incredibly domineering, and even my teacher couldn't completely neutralize it. However, there's still a way. The pill works by draining the user's life force to boost power. Since it can't be neutralized, the solution is to enhance the user's life force.

This will extend their lifespan, giving them more time to reach Dou Huang, which will neutralize the pill completely," Xiao Yan explained with a faint smile.

"The Deep Green Longevity Pill, a sixth-grade pill, can increase a person's lifespan by about ten years, though it can only be taken once in a lifetime. With this, Second Brother and Hall Master Ling Feng will have ten more years to break through to Dou Huang and overcome the Life Devouring Pill."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Li and Ling Feng were overjoyed. While the resources of the Yan Alliance had allowed them to cultivate diligently over the past two years, their progress was limited by talent.

Now both were only at the five-star Dou Wang level. Reaching Dou Huang within a year seemed impossible. However, with an additional ten years, they were confident they could make the breakthrough.

"Just as I thought…" Mo Yu murmured inwardly before patting Xiao Yan's shoulder with a smile. "Well done. I'll leave the Deep Green Longevity Pill to you."

"Cousin Mo Yu, you flatter me. This is my duty," Xiao Yan replied with a faint smile.

Suddenly, the sound of rushing wind drew their attention. Two figures darted through the air, landing swiftly on the Tiger Eagle Beast. It was none other than Zi Yan and Cai Lin.

Seeing Zi Yan's beaming smile, Mo Yu caught a faint medicinal aroma in the air. Surprised, he asked, "Were you collecting medicinal ingredients?"

"Hehe, your nose is sharp," Zi Yan giggled. With a flick of her hand, several intricately designed jade boxes appeared.

Mo Yu took the boxes, opening them one by one. Xiao Yan, who stood nearby, immediately recognized the contents and exclaimed, "These are Deep Green Fruits, a primary ingredient for the Deep Green Longevity Pill!"

Mo Yu paused in surprise, not expecting Zi Yan to stumble upon such a coincidence.

"What kind of pill is this Deep Green Longevity Pill? Is it tasty?" Zi Yan asked curiously, her large eyes blinking.

"It adds ten years to a person's life," Mo Yu said casually, handing the jade boxes to Xiao Yan. "See if these ingredients are useful. The rest can be made into pills for Zi Yan."

"What? Just for lifespan?" Zi Yan pouted, clearly uninterested. However, upon hearing about pills, her face lit up with excitement. "That's more like it! My effort wasn't in vain."

The group laughed at Zi Yan's antics before continuing their journey.

Time flowed swiftly during their monotonous flight, bringing them ever closer to the border of the Jia Ma Empire. After another two months of travel, the vast expanse of mountains finally gave way to the faint silhouette of a massive fortress on the horizon.

Zhen Gui Pass

"Three years have passed since we last left Zhen Gui Pass. The city remains unchanged, but the people… they've transformed beyond recognition." Mo Yu's silver eyes narrowed slightly as he murmured to himself.

"Yes, back then, the Yun Lan Sect forced us into near despair, like stray dogs. Now, after three years, it's time to settle this blood debt," Xiao Yan said solemnly beside him.

The sharp killing intent radiating from Mo Yu and Xiao Yan sent chills down the spines of Lin Yan and the others behind them. They exchanged glances, sensing a brewing storm. Silently, they thought, The Jia Ma Empire is bound to descend into chaos with the return of the Xiao Clan's Twin Dragons.

"Is this the homeland of the Manor Lord?" one of the members of Yuan Mansion asked curiously from atop a Tiger Eagle Beast.

Mo Yu's meteoric rise in the Black-Corner Region had astounded many. Consequently, these powerful figures from the Black-Corner Region were filled with curiosity about the empire that birthed such a legend.

"Cousin Mo Yu, Third Brother, something feels off. Zhen Gui Pass is far too quiet today," Xiao Li interjected, his brows furrowed in concern. "This is the largest fortress for miles and always bustling, even at night. But now…"

Hearing this, Mo Yu and Xiao Yan scanned the eerily silent stronghold, their expressions clouding. Mo Yu muttered, "Indeed, back when Xiao Yan and I departed, this place was teeming with people. What could have happened today?"

"Could it be that your return has already been discovered?" Lin Xiuya suggested, leaning forward.

"Impossible," Mo Yu shook his head. "The distance between the Black-Corner Region and the Jia Ma Empire is vast. News of my movements shouldn't have reached here."

"There are signs of battle in the city, and many strong individuals are converging in one place," Cai Lin's calm voice suddenly interjected.

Hearing this, Mo Yu closed his eyes, unleashing a torrent of spiritual perception that swept through the entire fortress in an instant. Moments later, his lips curled into a cold smile as he opened his eyes. "Interesting. Something's happening in the city center. Let's go check it out."

At Mo Yu's command, the Yuan Mansion members responded in unison. The ten massive Tiger Eagle Beasts swooped down toward the fortress.

In the center of Zhen Gui Pass, the atmosphere in the expansive courtyard of the City Lord's mansion was tense. Two factions stood locked in a standoff, weapons gleaming coldly under the sunlight. This was no mere display; it was a real battle on the brink of eruption.

The opposing sides were the border troops of Zhen Gui Pass and the Yun Lan Sect.

Amid the tension, the Yun Lan Sect members, who seemed to have the upper hand, suddenly sensed something. Their faces turned dark as they raised their heads, gazing at the ten enormous flying beasts circling above.

"Who are these uninvited guests?" someone muttered, their expression wary.

Mu Tie, the commander of the border troops, also stared at the sky with unease. Unsure of the visitors' intentions, he quickly gestured for his troops to encircle him, their vigilance heightened.

"Who are you?"

A Yun Lan Sect elder, a Dou Wang named Yun Fan, stepped forward. His voice was icy as he addressed the newcomers. "This matter concerns the Yun Lan Sect. I advise you not to meddle."

"Haha, as expected, it's the Yun Lan Sect," a faint laugh echoed from the sky. Moments later, over a dozen figures leaped gracefully from the Tiger Eagle Beasts, landing steadily in the courtyard.

As the figures descended, an overwhelming aura radiated from the silver-eyed youth at the forefront, instantly suppressing Yun Fan's Dou Wang presence. The elder's face turned pale as he realized his aura had been completely retracted under the oppressive pressure.

The silent confrontation deepened the unease among the Yun Lan Sect members. Even Mu Tie, who ordered his men to stand down, scrutinized the mysterious figures, his gaze lingering on the silver-eyed youth and his black-robed companion.

"Why do they seem… familiar?" Mu Tie thought, his confusion mounting as he failed to recall when he might have encountered such powerful individuals. His unease grew as he swept his gaze over the others. Each figure's strength was utterly unfathomable, a clear indication that they were far beyond him.

The courtyard fell into a deathly silence.

After a long pause, Yun Fan finally mustered his composure and spoke cautiously, "May I ask who you are? I am Yun Fan, an elder of the Yun Lan Sect. Have you perhaps heard of our Sect Master, Yun Shan?"

"Yun Shan?" The silver-eyed youth chuckled, his tone laced with mockery. "Oh, I've heard of him. In fact, I share quite the history with him."

He paused, his smile growing colder. "Tell me, does the name Mo Yu ring any bells?"
