You know that moment when you obviously thought that someone was lying to you and that you just let them believe that they are telling the truth when they were in fact lying but it turns out to be true.
I don't know if I am making any sense but this is exactly how Kira felt this morning when she saw her best friend entering the her apartment with a man both drenched in rain.
She didn't see the face of the man because it was still a bit but he was tall and well built.
She didn't know if she should go ahead and see for herself but she didn't want to interrupt them.
She had originally come here to see Angie to tell her about what happened last night and how the guy from the market saved her because she still didn't know his name.
She has always thought that she was lying about having a boyfriend but she thought wrong.
She waited for a few minutes and neither Angie nor the guy came out which signaled that something was going on in there.
She shook her head in disbelief but was happy that her friend has experience and she already have a billion questions to ask her with a smirk on her face, she left few minutes later.
Had she stayed few more seconds she would have seen Shawn stepping out from the block.

Shawn didn't see Kira either as he came out and ran back home in his new dry clothes and thanking God for making him not work out at home due to the weather and all.
"What a really weird way to start a day" Shawn said to himself and smiled before jogging back home after stopping for a while.
He soon reached his house in a matter of minutes and he opened the door and stepped in the and went straight to the kitchen to get a bottle of water to drink.
He got the water and was walking back to his room when he heard Ric's voice
"You were a little slow today man. What took you so long?"
Shawn jumped clearly startled. "What the hell man, how did you even get in?" Shawn asked Ricardo who was enjoying this moment.
"Uh, I have a spare key?" he replied
Shawn wiped his face with his palm and sighed.
"Oh, okay. Please don't do that again".
"I can't promise you that. I enjoy scaring the shit out of you" he said with a cocky smile before he noticed that Shawn's clothes were completely dry and for someone who went for a run, things were not adding up.
"So where exactly did you go to?" he asked
"What do you mean? I went for a run. Isn't it obvious?" I rolled my eyes at Ric's stupid question.
"I'm not doubting you man, but the thing is that your clothes are dry so yeah, it obviously doesn't make sense to me." Ric said and he sure did have a point but how was he going to tell him that the sweatpants and shirt belonged to a girl and not just any girl, the firecracker.
"Na uh, don't even think about lying to me, I can see right through you. So, spill the beans" Ric sat down and motioned for him to start talking while he made himself comfortable on the bean bag in his room.
I sighed in defeat and said "Well, you know the firecracker girl I was telling you about?" I said gauging his reactions from the confused look to the dawning realization that I was talking about the same girl that caught my interest in a long time. He chuckled
"Wow, that's rich. Go on" he said.
"I went for a run and bumped into her.."
"Did you really bump into her?" he asked with a smirk and I rolled my eyes
"You son of bitch. Would you at least let me finish? And yes, I bumped into her you pervert. I went for a run it started raining and I was looking for cover then I saw her working out too" I didn't say training because he would ask what kind, so the less information I give to Ric the less probing question I get.
"okay, whatever. What I really want to know is the route you followed because I would have surely seen you if you had followed your normal route." He gasped "Were you following her?" he scooched closer to me.
"Ummm..no. I wanted a change of environment and it was just a coincidence" I said with a straight face.
"Liar" was all he could say.
"but since you are so uncomfortable talking about it, I will let you tell me when you are ready but I think you are catching feelings. By the way I haven't seen these sweats before. Is it new?"
This question caught me off guard.
"What? Oh yeah. It's new" he didn't buy it but didn't ask further questions and a heaved a sigh of relief.
"By the way, how is your mother?" I asked changing the subject.
"She's okay. My father is with her. I am trying to let him back in my life slowly" he sighed.
I nodded "At least he is trying to redeem himself"
"I guess" Ric shrugged and he seemed to zone out for a while before snapping back.
"Anyway, about work, the Stone family is really trying to get on my nerves. The deal was for them to back off from the land but they tricked us and the have up to 60 percent of the property. Eugene Stone is a pig" he spat
Hearing this pissed me off and I was going to use the means that I have always known. Threat. Since legal means is as good as useless.
I tried to calm myself down and said
"Very well then, I guess we would have to use the other means" Ricardo looked at me skeptically. "Are you sure about that?"
"Yeah" I answered casually.
"I don't know Shawn. I really don't want to go down that road again. Lets just give them more time."
Ric tried to reason with me, I guess he still hasn't gotten over the incident that happened two years ago, after going to threatened one of our former partners, he had a heart attack and died and he never forgave himself but I didn't feel anything because I knew the man always had a heart condition.
"Fine, if you say so" I agreed
"I'm hungry, what should I order" he asked
"Oh, I already ate" I blurted out before realizing what I just said
"Fried rice with some peppered turkey would be fine" I added swiftly which had Ric raising an eyebrow but he just let it slide.
He ordered and we ate talked about a few things before he said that he had to go check on his mother. I promised to visit later and with that I was left alone in my lonely apartment.
