Decades ago, hmanity was on the brink of extinction brought upon by an invading force known as the void. An entity that devours ever world it encounters with the goal of conquering all realities. Using its army, beasts known only as spawn, it creates fissures in reality and sends forth its forces.



But when humanity was on the verge, a ray of hope shone down on them and their prayers were answered in the form of traits. Humans who were compatible with a strange new energy that leaked into their world from the fissures began awakening superhuman and supernatural abilities. And using those powers, the fought back against the invaders.
