"Well, if there are no more questions, I'll be on my way," said the tour guide, forcing a smile before quickly walking away.
Miku, her expression cold, scoffed, "How disappointing. There's nothing here that I wanted to see."
Sui was left speechless. 'The things you're looking for wouldn't be in a typical museum,' he thought.
"Miku, what you're interested in is pretty niche. It's unlikely they'd have it here," he remarked.
"But this is supposed to be the Warring States Museum!" Miku huffed, puffing out her cheeks in frustration.
"Since there's nothing you're interested in, how about we head out?" Sui suggested. "I saw a game store nearby. They probably have some Romance of the Three Kingdoms or Warring States games."
Miku looked intrigued and was about to respond when suddenly a large group of elderly visitors moved past them. Caught off guard, Miku was jostled and fell to the ground.
"Are you okay?" Sui rushed over, concerned.
"I'm fine," Miku said, shaking her head as she tried to stand. But just as she was about to get up, she winced in pain and sat back down, clutching her right foot.
"Did you sprain your ankle?" Sui squatted down, inspecting her foot.
"It hurts," Miku admitted, her brows knitting together.
"Let me carry you out," Sui offered, lifting her into his arms without hesitation.
"Wait, what?!" Miku instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, her expression a mix of surprise and embarrassment. Her face quickly turned bright red, and she lowered her head in silence.
Sui suddenly spoke up, "Miku?"
"Huh?" Miku's head snapped up, startled.
"You're digging your nails into my neck. It hurts," Sui said with a wince.
"Ah! Sorry!" Miku, flustered, loosened her grip, her cheeks flushed.
Carrying Miku out of the museum, Sui headed for the nearby lounge and gently set her down on a chair. "Wait here. I'll go grab some medicine," he said before heading to the convenience store.
Miku nodded quietly.
A few minutes later, Sui returned with red medicine, bandages, drinks, and some snacks. He walked over and pressed a cold bottle of iced tea against Miku's cheek.
"Ah!" Miku let out a small yelp, instinctively lifting both legs, giving off an unexpectedly adorable vibe.
Despite her quiet and slightly aloof nature, Miku's sudden reactions often had a cute charm that could melt anyone's heart.
"Thanks," she murmured, taking the bottle and setting it aside. Then, without a second thought, she began taking off her shoes and—right in front of Sui—started removing her stockings.
Her legs were long and slender, her skin smooth and fair. Sui was momentarily stunned, wondering why she took off 'both' stockings, not just the one on her injured foot.
Squatting down, he gently examined her swollen ankle. He opened the bottle of mercurochrome and carefully applied it to the red area. Her foot was small, delicate, and soft to the touch, with a round ankle that fit perfectly in his hand.
"Thanks," Miku whispered, her face tinged with a soft blush.
"No problem," Sui replied as he finished bandaging her ankle. "Can you try walking?"
Miku attempted to stand but quickly wobbled, falling against Sui. She shook her head, clearly unable to put any weight on her foot.
"It's no good. I'll have to carry you again," Sui said, squatting down to let her climb onto his back.
"Eh? W-Wait..." Miku blushed slightly but eventually let Sui lift her up once more.
As he carried her, Sui couldn't help but notice how light she felt—about 50 kilograms, maybe? He remembered Ichika once saying the sisters had similar body weights. But the real distraction was the soft pressure of Miku's chest against his back. Sui's thoughts wandered to the scene in Ichika's room, and he couldn't help but wonder if their measurements were equally divided among the five sisters.
"Do you still want to visit the museum?" Sui asked, trying to keep his mind focused.
"No, it was too boring," Miku responded, pouting slightly.
"Alright, let's head to the game store, buy a few games, and then go home," Sui suggested. He walked a few steps before coming to a sudden halt.
"Sui, what's wrong?" Miku asked, puzzled.
"I was just thinking... maybe you should put your stockings in my pocket," Sui said.
Miku, who had been holding the rolled-up stockings in her hands, looked down in embarrassment. With her arms wrapped around Sui's neck, the stockings were hanging right in front of his face. He could even catch a faint scent from them.
"S-Sorry," Miku stammered, her face turning crimson. She quickly stuffed the rolled stockings into Sui's shirt pocket.
After that, Sui carried her to the game store, and they each picked out some games. Miku's normally stoic expression softened into a rare smile as she selected historical strategy games, clearly delighted.
Afterward, Sui escorted Miku back to her apartment. Before leaving, Miku shyly lowered her head and mumbled in her usual soft tone, "Thanks for today. I'll give the games back once I'm done."
"Sure, no problem," Sui smiled before heading back down in the elevator.
As he walked away, he instinctively patted his shirt pocket and paused. Pulling out the two rolled-up stockings, he realized they were still there—Miku had forgotten to take them back. Sui hesitated briefly before deciding to return them.
He went back to Miku's apartment, and noticing that she hadn't locked the door, he let himself in. Just as he passed by the bathroom, he heard a voice from inside.
"Miku, are you back? Can you grab the bathrobe from the sofa for me? I washed it yesterday and forgot to bring it in..."
