Without wasting a moment, Nexus and Gavin went back to the hospital.

Nexus, brandishing a sword and utterly unrepentant, drew the attention of startled onlookers who recognized him from the news broadcasts flashing across their screens.

Gasps echoed through the sterile corridors, and fear spread like wildfire.

"Isn't that the man from the television? The one causing chaos?" a nurse muttered in disbelief, her hand flying to her mouth as panic set in.

She strode purposefully towards the telephone, her fingers poised to dial the police, desperate for their assistance in catching Nexus.

However, as the signal rang out, an abrupt beep signaled failure—Gavin appeared, stepping forward with an air of foreboding, entirely aware of her intentions.

He couldn't bear the thought of adding further complications to the already tense situation.

The nurse blinked in surprise, her eyes widening as she registered his intervention.
