Roman tenderly toyed with the delicate necklace adorning her neck, his fingers skimming the chain against her skin as he kept his unwavering gaze fixed upon her. In the moonlight, he could discern the flush on her cheeks. "I always thought you were someone who defied conventions, someone who embraced the forbidden," he remarked softly.



"I am, and also not innocent like you assume," Carol declared, her gaze unflinching as she met his eyes. She was aware of what was unfolding, yet she felt no trepidation. Entering into this relationship with him, despite its forbidden nature, exhilarated her.



"Is that so?" he inquired, tilting his head to the side as his fingers released her necklace. His hands slid down her waist, tracing the curves of her body. Electric sparks ignited wherever his touch lingered. His intense gaze seemed to penetrate her very soul, his touch awakening her senses, and his mouth hinting at the passionate desires he harbored.



Her pulse quickened as his fingers spread across her hips, "I don't want to claim you, Carol; I simply desire you. Is that still what you want?" he asked, his voice filled with utmost desire.



Initially, all she sought was an affluent suitor who would cherish her and indulge her with opulence, but everything changed when she encountered him. "I won't claim you. You're at liberty to pursue anything beyond this. Are you certain that's the kind of person you desire?" he inquired once more, seeking reassurance. He had overheard her wishes during the gathering, and he knew he was far from those things she had mentioned. He would only pursue his desires and nothing more, there could never be a romantic relationship between them.
