Petal's POV

The rain was relentless, drenching everything in its path, including me. I stood at the entrance of the building, shivering as the cold droplets clung to my skin, my dress soaked and sticking to me uncomfortably. But the chill of the rain was nothing compared to the chill that ran down my spine when I saw him.

Sebastian.

He stood a few feet away, his figure imposing and drenched from head to toe. His sharp, furious gaze was locked on me—or more specifically, the person behind me. His wet hair clung to his forehead, and his broad shoulders looked even more intimidating under the weight of the storm. I couldn’t tear my eyes away from him, my breath catching in my throat as a mix of fear and confusion overwhelmed me.

“Why does he look so angry?” I thought, frozen to the spot. My heart raced, not from the rain or the cold, but from the intensity of his expression. His piercing eyes burned with fury, and I could feel the heat of his rage even from where I stood.
