If Della had been told a few months back that she would be here today spouting threats to the enforces of law and order, she would certainly brand such prophet a joker but not only was she spouting threats but there were all empty threats and again, not only were they all empty threats but the police were even falling for it. She could not help wonder how she had suddenly changed so much from that timid girl who wouldn’t speak to anyone. If Della would be honest however, she had perhaps experienced things even these officers never did, she didn’t just change.
