While she wanted the police to do their job which protecting the lives of the citizens - Dallier herself was moving from room to room, office to office, ward to ward all in search of Dunn and Xavier but she could find nothing.
The hospital had only two floors and within thirty minutes, Dallier felt she had checked virtually everywhere but found nothing. With several thoughts running chaotically through his mind, Dallier opened a toilet room only to see her face staring back at her through a mirror. Her face were all scrunched up and her dark brown eyes appeared sunk in, her lips were suddenly dry and Dallier thought her bones were even more prominent than when she had woken up, she simply looked distraught.
With a sigh, she turned back closing the door just in time to hear some footsteps approaching.
“Miss Dallier, thanks goodness.” Pauline, the female officer spoke hurriedly approaching Dallier and holding up her drooping shoulders.
