“Great then, when can I speak with the beta? The sooner we go after this monster, the better.” She spoke. 


“You will not need to worry about that Miss Linda, our Alpha had left for the monster dimension already.” The matriarch spoke and Linda’s brows scrunched. 


“Hmhm… you seems worried, don’t be, the Alpha will be back with the monster’s corpse.” The matriarch spoke before ending the call. 


Linda stared on into the blank screen as she muttered, “I hope so.” 


Looking back at the screen, her face suddenly went dark as she could see a fiery plume covering a certain area where a beautiful hospital had once stood. 


“That mad man, what has he done!” She lamented before seeing a figure shot through the flame, rolling to a stop beside a police car. Linda stared on wordlessly for a moment before closing her eyes and receding back on her chair.
