Skuld brushed her fingertips against the boot, just before another hand touched hers.
" Kill the other one."
A cemetery, green eyes, and gray eyes, a cup lying on the ground, a bright green ray. She, with scissors in her hand, a couple of meters away observing everything.
She gasped, suddenly feeling choked. What was that? She felt... She felt like she was going to faint, she felt like she had seen or done something so terribly bad, she could barely breathe properly.
" Oh, is she your daughter too, Arthur?"
She looked up, looking at the man who had asked that, and looked to her side, where a boy with gray eyes and light brown hair was watching her attentively, his fingers touching the boot just like hers. She scanned his eyes, remembering her momentary disarray, and cut off all eye contact with him, focusing on pulling Harry so he could touch the boot.
The next thing Skuld felt was the strangest sensation she had ever experienced, and she seemed to have had a moment of strange lucidity just a few seconds ago.
She fell on the ground covered in short grass and some pebbles. She stood up, shaking her hair to remove some leaves that had gotten caught in her hair when they fell, when larger hands helped her, carefully removing them. It was the boy with gray eyes, who seemed to want to know something, from the way he opened and closed his mouth slightly.
"Ask it now," Skuld said bluntly, surprising the boy, who blushed slightly out of embarrassment. "You look like a fish opening and closing your mouth like this..."
" Cedric, Cedric Diggory " he introduced himself. Skuld thought back, and remembered the times when her family went to the Diggory house and vice versa. "Are you a Weasley?"
"Yes, doesn't my hair say a lot?" She asked ironically, moving away from the boy, removing the last twig from her head. "Were you just going to ask that? Thanks, for helping me with my hair."
"No, it wasn't that!" he denied. She grew impatient. Being close to Cedric Diggory made her anxious, impatient, nervous, as if something inside her wanted it to happen immediately. "I... I asked you because in a photo I have at home, there is a woman identical to you, you even have her eyes, and the same smile " He pointed to her eyes. He frowned slightly. "And... Well, you've never been referred to as a Weasley daughter, so I thought you were... Well, related to that woman."
"What is the name of that woman, the one in the photo?"
" Oh, she died in the Wizarding War, her name was Lily Evans, she was my father's friend..."
Skuld disconnected for a few seconds. Lily Evans... Lily... She felt a chill from her lower back to her neck, which made her shiver slightly and move away from Diggory, leaving him with the word in his mouth. Lily Evans, Lily Evans... That name sounded so familiar in her head.
" Dad " She called to the man. He turned, looking at her curiously. "Why does the name Lily Evans remind me of someone?"
Ahead of her, Harry and Hermione turned sharply, looking at her in confusion. Ron, on the other hand, looked at them for a few seconds blankly, until he imitated his friends. Was that name so serious?
"She was a friend..."
"My mother," Harry interrupted. "Lily Potter née Evans was my mother."
" Oh."
She didn't say anything else, but she felt that strange familiarity with the name again.
[T/N: ew, I-I think when Lily died and sacrificed her soul, Voldy caught some of it and experimented with adding it to skuld when he had her]
.....
Unfortunately for her, she hadn't find Seamus. She had searched for more than an hour, but the only thing she found was her brother Bill, angry that she left them that way. She appreciated Bill, perhaps the only one she truly appreciated as if he were her brother. He and Charlie claimed to remember perfectly well when she was born and little, but the difference between them was that Charlie avoided her slightly, and Bill had always been there for her.
Bill Weasley was her favorite Weasley.
"A boy?" he asked, looking at her carefully. "Is he your friend?"
"Yes," She nodded, looking around, avoiding her older brother's eyes, which were constantly seeking eye contact.
"Do you have many friends?" she shrugged. "What are they called?"
"Seamus, Dean, Neville, Blaise, and Draco," she said quickly, suddenly standing on tiptoes. "Seamus!"
The boy turned around suddenly. Skuld smiled slightly when she saw him. He looked kind of ridiculous dressed like that, but who was she to judge, she also supported Ireland although not in such an extreme way.
" Skuld, finally! " He ran over, giving her a short hug, which was not reciprocated due to the surprise of the sudden closeness. "I have been looking for you."
"Me too," he looked at her brother, who was judging Seamus with his eyes. "Bill, this is Seamus."
"My pleasure, I'm her older brother," he said, extending his hand suspiciously. "Let's go, Dad is waiting for us to finish setting up the tents, then you can talk to your friends."
" You go, they don't want me there " She refused, making a gesture with her hand.
The situation became somewhat uncomfortable. Seamus rocked on his heels looking around trying to avoid the Weasley family situation, while Bill crossed his arms feeling a pain in his chest and a lump in his throat. What had happened in his absence to make his sister think that?
" Don't talk nonsense, Dad..."
" Dad almost left me at home today " She cut off. She raised her chin in a proud gesture, trying to tell him that she would not go with the rest, and he was stunned. "Go to them, they must be worried about their son."
Skuld turned her back, and smiled slightly at Seamus, pulling on his arm to start walking away from Bill.
And Bill couldn't recognize his sister.
