Chapter 24

" Look on the positive side, you will be the first to know if it rains."

Skuld and the Weasleys turned sharply towards that voice. There was a man with almost platinum blonde hair, somewhat long and perfectly combed. He was wearing an elegant and expensive-looking robe, and he accompanied his elegant clothing with a gesture of seriousness and superiority, worthy of a Malfoy. Skuld smiled, looking behind him at a boy who was also blonde and pale, who raised his eyebrows when he saw her, hiding a smile.

" Lucius Malfoy " Arthur approached the railing, saying his name seriously.

Lucius Malfoy ignored him, focused on looking at the red-haired girl, who still maintained her smile, and nodded when she exchanged glances with him.

" It's a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Malfoy."

She felt her brother Fred step on her foot, but showed no signs of pain or even noticing. She simply ignored him, just as Lucius ignored her father.

"The feeling is mutual, Skuld," the corner of her lips lifted slightly. "Draco told me about you."

" I hope nothing bad, Mr. Malfoy " her smile reduced, remaining in a gesture similar to that of the Malfoys, with the corners raised in a carefree manner, showing a face of pride.

"Of course," Draco intervened.

Behind him, a woman also appeared. Everything around her screamed that she was an elegant woman even when going to the bathroom, although her lips seemed slightly curved downwards, showing a gesture of slight disgust. Despite this, she had incredible natural beauty. A woman like that had to be a Malfoy.

"Oh, Narcissa, you arrive at the right time," Mr. Malfoy looked at the woman. "This is the much-mentioned Skuld Weasley."

The woman looked up, and froze as she made eye contact. Skuld narrowed her eyes at the reaction, but that caused the woman's purse to fall to the floor, and she began to shake slightly. She stammered something unintelligible, and the Weasleys looked at each other without understanding anything. They had been attentive to such a conversation, and had been shocked by such familiarity of the redhead with them, but they did not expect Narcissa Malfoy's reaction, as if she had seen a ghost in front of her.

" Let's go, Nike " Arthur, somewhat annoyed, pulled his daughter's arm carelessly, pulling her away from the railing and the blonde family.

Skuld wanted to approach the woman after having read her lips in a last whisper.

.....

Skuld rolled her eyes hearing her brothers shout still celebrating. Yes, the match had been interesting, but there was also no need to create such a fuss, creating a mind-numbing headache. Something had to happen, something had to happen, and it was like she was forgetting something related to it. Something important.

" It's not the Irish!"

And, after that, the party stopped. Skuld calmly got up from the cushion, putting her wand in the inside pocket of her Muggle jacket, and approached her father, who was hesitatingly giving orders to everyone. Fred and George with Ginny, while Bill, Charlie, and Percy with him to help, and the trio of friends who stay together. Skuld could swear that if he weren't so rushed, he'd stop and pretend to care about her, and send her to Fred and George, who were charged with protecting her little sister. In emergency situations, it was clear that she was a zero on the list, but it was no longer important, she was used to it.

She left the tent after the twins, but within seconds she lost sight of them as they ran out holding Ginny's hand. Skuld swore she saw Ginny's eyes turn in her direction, and she smiled.

Skuld brushed it off. She would know how to get to the portkey on her own, there was no doubt about that, but the people made her upset, everyone shouting and running from one side to the other, losing control like crazy people. She thought she saw Hermione among the people, behind her a head of orange hair, but she didn't follow them, she didn't want to, and Ron wouldn't be a good brother protecting or helping her.

She put her hands inside the warm pockets of her jacket, and went between the tents, emerging into the forest, in which there were hardly any people, although the noise could still be heard. She thought for a few seconds about her older brothers, but denied it. She didn't have to worry about them, since they hadn't even mentioned her name in the camp's escape groups. She was even sure that if she were asleep in a separate room, she wouldn't have been woken up.

But it didn't matter anymore, because she was used to it.

Because, who did they want to fool by leaving her bacon in the morning or faking smiles when she entered the kitchen or living room? The Weasleys disowned her, and that wouldn't change overnight.

"Skuld Weasley?"

She turned around, seeing a man she didn't recognize staring at her, licking his lips constantly, as if in a nervous tic. In his hands he carried a wand and an invisibility cloak, and behind him, slightly hidden, was an elf. She raised an eyebrow, looked at the man, and nodded.

" Who's asking?"

The man smiled, before raising his wand to the sky, and shouting a spell.

" Morsmordre!"

Before their eyes, a huge skull with a large snake emerging from its mouth materialized in the sky, immediately creating more screams in the distance. The man, still smiling, covered himself with his cloak, and the elf received a spell from the clearing a few meters away, behind the bushes.

Skuld Weasley ran, getting away from anything that had to do with that scene. She ran, reaching the camp again, and ran, colliding with Cedric Diggory, who was going in the same direction as her.

And she saw it again, a blinding green light, and a man carrying a baby.
