Chapter 81

Anton pulled out his phone in front of the crowd and called the police to file a complaint.

"Police? I'd like to file a complaint. A group of people gathered at the Pilsar Company and are disturbing our work, slandering the employees with impunity. If you do not deal with them, I will take the matter to court. I have excellent lawyers" The last sentence was addressed to the gathered people, sending shivers down their spines.

The journalists, clearly affected by the threat, put their phones away and dispersed, not wanting to lose their jobs.

They had been paid to make a scene and ask questions related to the accident, without knowing the details.

Feeling worried, they decided they had done enough and left. However, the woman did not want to let go.

"Have you heard, people?! He is threatening us with a lawsuit because we are speaking out about the injustice that happened to me. Just look how I, an innocent victim, a defenseless woman, will end up behind bars! Look what the rich are doing to us!" She shouted, counting on passers-by to take her side.

Anton just smiled murderously at her and got into the car that drove up to the company.

A few minutes later, the police drove up to the building and, despite woman's protests, took her away from the building.

This scene was also recorded by someone and appeared on the internet a few hours later.

More comments fell, criticizing the employees of the company.

The man sitting in front of his computer, grinning at the monitor, opening another beer. The message with the transferred funds appeared before his eyes.

"Excellent. I like such jobs." The man licked his lips disgustingly, pleased with his actions.

Before he could take another sip of beer, someone kicked down his door. The man turned to curse at the troublemakers but was punched hard in the face, knocking him unconscious.

A bag was put over his head, and the things from his desk were collected. A few minutes later, no one was in his apartment, including the owner.

Zick, receiving a message from Anton about the situation in the morning, immediately began searching.

Some time later, she managed to find the camera footage and traced Sophie's route.

Fortunately, the shooting range Sophie attended had monitoring installed throughout the building and the scene from the online recording appeared before her eyes.

Looking at the recording from a different angle, it was clear that it was the woman who threw herself at the car.

However, that was not the most important thing to her now. After saving the recording, Zick began looking for something else. Or rather, someone else.

She was interested in the person who recorded the entire event.

"I've got you" She said with satisfaction, seeing the man hidden in the bushes.

She sped up the recording a bit to see what he looked like. A few seconds later, when Sophie's car drove away, the man came out of hiding and approached the woman waiting around the corner. The same one who had run into Sophie!

"You won't escape this time" Zick saved another recording and traced the route of the man, who, unaware of anything, returned to his home.

It was no problem for Zick to find his address after he led them there himself.

Zick passed the information on to Anton and was given more instructions. This time he told her to check the company cameras in front of the building.

As Zick logged into the system, she began to watch the scene in front of the building and frowned.

"Are you doing something for Anton again? What's he got twins for?" Jealous Don leaned over the unsuspecting girl.

"Someone wants to frame Sophie. I've already found the one who recorded everything. Now Anton just needs to find out from him who ordered it. As you can see, I don't help him with everything. He can take care of the rest himself" She turned to him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, while he was still leaning over her.

"Thank goodness. I thought you were going to change employers" He joked, squeezing her neck lightly. Zick looked at him indignantly, opening her mouth wide.

"How could you" She narrowed her eyes threateningly, but after a moment she pretended to think about something. "Although on the other hand... If he paid me more and let me drink energy drinks..."

"I'll murder you, you little fox" Don tried to catch her, but Zick quickly slipped out of the armchair and ran out of the room, laughing charmingly.

Don looked after his clever fox with a smile. However, seeing the gaze of the other employees, who were watching his beloved, he cleared his throat menacingly.

His men quickly went back to work, but someone was still staring in his direction.

Don looked towards the twins, who were watching him from behind the computer screen with narrowed eyes.

Their hands rose higher and, when joined, made a small heart.

Don hissed with dissatisfaction and left the room. These twins were getting more and more brazen. It looked like he would have to liven them up a bit in Anton's absence.

If Anton was using his hacker, why would Don refrain from using his? He'd help them build some muscle, maybe then they'd stop thinking about stupid things like their boss.

He couldn't remember the last time he'd worked out. The recent events hadn't really allowed him to get back into working out, but now he felt much better and the wound had almost healed.

Having some time to himself, he decided to go to the gym located in his mansion.

Entering the room, he found quite a few men there. Everyone was working out to get in the best shape possible.

A sinister smile appeared on Don's face.

The man returned to the main room where the twins were sitting near Zick, who had returned to her station.

With a wide smile on his face, he grabbed the twins by the scruff of their necks and led them to the gym.

"Come on, boys. We'll have a chance to get to know each other better."
