Personal Maid

At evening, Noel opened his eyes; he felt drowsy as he saw the room and found himself at the same place he slept a few hours ago.

When he closed his eyes, there was an initial thought in his mind: "If I close my eyes and sleep for a while, maybe I'll be back at my home and all of this was just a dream."

But no, it was not a dream, and Noel understood this very clearly. He smiled, as this was his first time sleeping peacefully on such a comfy bed.

He got up and stood in front of the window; there was darkness outside, and the temperature in the villa was decreased compared to the afternoon.

Just as he was looking at the garden of the villa, the door opened, and a maid entered. She bowed, "Sir, supper is ready; Miss is waiting for you." Then she went towards the closet and asked, "What do you want to wear for the night, sir?"

Noel looked at her, "Do I have to change? Aren't these good enough?" He then looked at the hospital clothes he was still wearing.

The maid spoke, "It's an order from Miss; please choose your dress, sir." Noel felt embarrassed as he now noticed that he was wearing the hospital clothes since morning.

Not wanting to live in the same moment for long, he chose all black clothes: a black T-shirt, black jeans, and a black coat.

The maid then came closer to him and tried to remove his dress. Noel moved back, "What are you doing?"

The maid responded, "Sir, I'm helping you change; it's my duty."

Then, with smooth hands, she removed his shirt. Her hands went for his pants, but he stopped her. "That's enough; I haven't taken a shower. Wait here." He took the jeans with him and entered the bathroom.

His heart was throbbing as it was his first time being this close to a woman. Although he wanted her to continue, but he got embarrassed.

Inside the bathroom, as he took a shower, he cursed himself, "Shit-shit-shit, why do I have to embarrass myself like that? I should have let her do her things..."

After five minutes, he came out of the bathroom, wearing only jeans, his upper body naked.

Noel looked at the maid's embarrassed expression, then turned towards the mirror. He saw his well-built, fine-chiselled body and thought, "The guy has maintained his physique; it's commendable."

Back on Earth, Noel wasn't a fat guy, but he didn't like to exercise, and because of this, his physique was ordinary.

As he was lost in thoughts, the maid started helping him with his clothing.

This time, he let her do her thing, but his heart was still throbbing. To lessen the tension, he asked, "Do you drink human blood daily or weekly?" He used the knowledge he had from reading vampire novels.

The maid answered, "I don't drink human blood." She was buttoning his shirt.

Noel looked surprised, "Wait! Then you mean you drink animal's blood?"

The maid shook her head, "No, sir, I don't drink any type of blood."

Noel was confused, "Then how are you alive? Do vampires not drink blood?"

The maid giggled, "Sir, I'm not a vampire; I'm human."

Noel looked at her, "You're human? Living amongst vampires." The maid

nodded, "Yes, sir."

She continued as she took the black coat from the closet, "I just came here today to serve as your personal maid."

Noel was surprised, "You say my personal maid, huh? It seems the princess is taking care of me better than I thought she would."

Then, intrigued by the thought of her being human, he asked, "How did you get into this job? Did they force you?"

Maid smiled and answered, "No, sir, I'm from the Guild, and I applied for this job as the pay was good."

Noel seemed more confused, "So, they hired you? And what Guild are you talking about?"

The maid saw Noel's surprised look as she finished her work. She explained, "Sir, there is an independent Guild called One Heaven, where you can do business with any race or beings. There is a lobby where you can hire services from different races."

She continued, "The Ravens used that service to hire me."

Noel understood that there were many things out there that he didn't know. He asked, "But aren't you afraid of Vampires? What if they harm you? You should know about them better than me."

The maid nodded, "Sir, we have signed a contract under One Heaven's policy, so they cannot harm me, nor can I harm you. And I'm a hunter myself, so I can protect myself from low-level danger."

Noel pondered, "This One Heaven Guild seems powerful."

The maid spoke, "Indeed, sir, there are many powerful beings in this world, but no one goes against One Heaven, especially when they give the best service in the world."

Then she opened the door, "It's time, sir."

Noel nodded and headed out. He stopped in front of the maid and asked, "What's your name? My personal maid."

The maid blushed and smiled, "I'm Mona, sir, your personal maid."

Noel smiled, "let's continue our conversation later." and then headed towards the dining hall, with Mona following him from behind.

He reached the hall and saw a long table filled with many cuisines, some familiar and some foreign to him.

Sameera was seated at the start of the table, while Butler Henry stood behind her.

He saw Sameera and, with a big smile, approached her and seated himself in the chair beside her.

Seeing this, Butler spoke, "Your seat is not here," as he pointed towards the end of the table.

Noel looked at him, "You want me to sit alone there? Hell no. In my place, we sit together, and that's how we enjoy food."

He smiled at Sameera, who didn't object to his decision.

Butler complained, "Miss, this is…" but before he could continue, Sameera stopped him.

"Let him, Uncle Henry."

She looked at Noel, "You look good in these clothes." Then she took a glass of wine.

"Did you like your maid?" she asked, pointing at Mona, who was standing behind him.
